It was very difficult to make any approximation of Sean Malone's tone with B4FL because just by it's own, it sounds rather like acoustic bass than something tight like Sean's SR5005 or Kubicki. Anyway the setting is(was): Cort B4FL: - 1:1 blend between Piezzo and Rear Pickup - Max everything else Ampero Hotone Effects: - FX 1: Comparoma 4 (Sustain 32 Attack 80 Out 41 Clipping 65) - Amp: Baseman Bright (Vol 30 Presence 60 Bass 55 Mid 75 Treb 34) - Cab: Baseman 4x10 (Mic Dyn112 PosX 55 PozY 15 PozZ 60) - EQ: 123Hz -17 / 400Hz +29 / 800Hz +19 / 1.6KHz +9 / 4KHz -15 Although now I'm not sure if the alst EQ does anything important. And most importantly: picking hand has to be near the bridge most of the time. (although I chose to position my right hand away from the bridge at the beginning of this video, cause I thought something soft rather than punchy fits more in this specific section.)
