Forgot to mention but I also carry a small sticky notes with a pen that I use to take notes notably when I see my opponents hand.

This is actually something I really enjoyed. I haven't played physical card games since 2016 so to remember what to get or even knowing was kinda hard. Thank you for a different and cool video!

Hey Thorrk just want to thank you for the coaching sessions. I got into the top 8 for my store showdown! Even coming 2nd in the swiss rounds. Saved some of those waylays like you told me ha! With regard to "kit" I find I do play better when I note down base damage in a notebook (which I also use for oppo hand etc). If it is more casual the, phone counters are great too as they are so easy. I did experiment with the hit point spinner counters for base, but when taking notes its great to be able to use one hand for efficiency. I have a 50p piece with a Vader and Palp on for my initiative token :D

Super happy about your Store showdown results congratz!
I think the main argument in favor of the app over writing things down on paper is saving time. With a draw being a double loss, you need every opportunity to save time. Writing down is good because it allows you to keep a record of life total, but since the app can do it too, I definitely prefer the app and that's coming from someone who has been writing HP in MTG for more than 15 years.

Can you share a link to this exact app? I wasn't able to find one that keeps history like yours. Thanks!

I used to really love dragon shields but recently all my DS sleeves clip and the corners are bent on almost all of them

Weird never had that issue, are you using matte ones?

      @@Thorrk_THT I use dual mattes

I find the dragon shield matt sleeves corners bend and become easily identified

I'd still not recommend the app, cool it has a history tracker though, but overall a faulty habbit, which can lead to issues

      What issues? What faulty habbit?
