Great insights! Agree with all points. My first impression was left wanting on the number of balloons compared to the film. Not sure, at this size, that there was much LEGO could do, but I agree, make the whole thing bigger.
Definitely! Make they will make an 18+ version in the future.
As far as your price point "argument" though I do somewhat agree you have to remember this is a DISNEY set and they pay them a ton in licensing just because of the "Disney gouge" as I like to call it. If it wasn't for that the set would probably start of $20 cheaper at least.
You make a good point. The Disney licensing definitely does not help the pricing.
I’m not sure I agree with you - I think it’ll have a similar (although not as great) an effect as Wall E. Will sell meh, and then in 5 years time will resell for quite decent. It’s the only way to get all the characters from Up, a much much loved movie, and I think that will help it.

Good point! I think if you can get it for the right price it will do well. The minifigures are a big plus!
