- I made the LEGO Disney Up House into a Modular Building for my LEGO City with instructions from ReBrickable

Thankfully, some clever LEGO MOC Builders on ReBrickable created some instructions to create a back half to fully enclose it! The build requires one official LEGO Disney 100 "Up" House (Set 43217) and 350+ pieces from BrickLink.

I bought two sets because I did not read the ReBrickable instructions properly ... so I have a lot of spare LEGO Pieces and the additional Carl, Russell and Dug minifigures will be a good LEGO investment for the future.

I have the same shelf i use for my lego city. I've filled 2 of the levels with modulars, and have other sets filling the rest of it. Having the city be multilayered makes me think it's a futiristic city

Where do you get the back part of the Lego up house
any idea at what % of the back build a 2nd set would cover?
is it worth buying 2 sets or just the additional pieces?
I need only the extra parts, what of all those stores is the best for them? and how much extra did you spend?
If you can find these at discount, isn't it simpler to just buy 2 sets? Especially if adding the extra balloons?

How do u get instructions for modular building
Maybe you can help. I got the module to add the back side of the house but the part numbers don't match. I need help!
2 problems i noticed with the addition. It's missing a window on the light yellow side of the house, and on the pink side, it's missing another small round part of the house, kinda like the lime part, but tall and skinny. You might have no idea what im talking about, but you can just look at pictures of the Up house, and you might see it. Other than that, this is the Up house LEGO should have made.
Imagine if they did give it the modular treatment in the future.

I got it at Farmers! All the NZ retailers stock it now, it’s just a very popular set right at the mo. Hopefully the ChCh store gets it back in stock soon 😅

Where is the best place to get the extra pieces? I just bought the instructions and list of pieces needed but when I went on the Lego store not all of this pieces are available? Where would you recommend? :) xxx
bricklink.com is the best place to get all the parts! you can upload the parts into a “list” and then find them from local or international sellers 😊

I did have the same thoughts to buy 2 but keep prioritising my $80 on other new sets!!!! I did buy 2 x Botanical garden though, don't really want to build exactly the same from Brick Artisian instructions as it took away the fountain dropping into pond. Let's see how it goes

I am new to Lego. How do I purchase the modular and the second half of the house? I dont see it listed in brinklink. I am in the USA if that helps. 🙂
Hi! You will need to buy the official set from Lego directly, or whichever retailer you buy Lego from. And then you get the individual pieces off BrickLink. First you will need to buy the instructions off ReBrickable, and that gives you a list you can import into BrickLink to make it easier to find/ buy the pieces 😊 Good luck!

@@heynoah2355 the house on it’s own is about 18 x 18 studs. On the big green baseplate it’s 32x32 studs

lego is getting sloppier by not making the set full, and with a baseplate
