LEGO hides clever secrets and easter eggs in their sets. Although some of these can be seen on the outside of a LEGO build, some of the best LEGO secrets are hidden inside the build and cannot be seen once the set is assembled. LEGO designers include fun personal references, secret codes and much more. It takes a careful eye to spot them, so join me as we explore the best ones!

One of my favorite hidden "secrets" in a Lego set is the Titanic set. You build the 2 large piston engines, but you also build the 3rd turbine engine only to cover over it and never see it again
I don't get it...
is this related to how it sank or?
@@stupid_jokester2096on the outside you just see the Titanic, on the inside there are two piston engines.
That was max effort by lego

The fact that the pink bricks were hidden all over star wars sets just so the designers could be promised cake has got to be the most danish thing Ive heard in a while.
Mario ahh quest

I came looking for this comment!
I remember when I built the full sized version of the Lego Sydney Opera House I couldn’t resist but to hide a weeping angel in the staircase leading up to the main entrance. I figured one day someone else would eventually pull this thing apart and would get us a surprise.
EXCELLENT WORK. SPITBRIX LEGO HIRDING
Wow what a long comment!
@rbbailey0 They literally wrote two sentences, might want to stick to kids TH-cam with that reading comprehension

I always found the usage of multi-colored bricks inside the more complicated builds to be a way for LEGO to include more variety in people's brick collections, if they ever choose to dismantle a set and build something else
no its because they give you bricks that they dont need anymore
It can also help if you're not sure which step you're on.
the red herring is amazing, whoever came up with that deserves a raise!
i was confused at first but then it was genius
“Red herring” and “crocodile tears” are legendary lol
1:08 i heard somewhere that was because one of the designers had his favourite shoes ruined by a big piece of gum in a london bus and so the designer wanted to make sure people knew London buses wasn't perfectly clean
how can gum ruin a shoe? just peel it off
@@tree_aloneyeah and with the rain in England I imagine that it would be like walking on freshly chewed gum all the time.
@michealpersicko9531 no because rain is cold so the gum would likeyl be hard. Rather than sticky, also, would be hard and slick like a ball of wax.
The Office Lego set has over 60 references in Easter eggs but my personal favourite is a hidden poop that Todd Packer leaves under Michael Scott's desk in season 2 episode 14.
The Red Herring one is quite clever. I’ve known the term from a fairly young age, and I’m surprised that it’s not that well known.
It's a very well known term he's just being weird
That Buzz Lightyear battery one is just incredible!
I like that they're done alternating up and down like actual batteries in a toy.
The Modular Buildings line as a whole have hidden, mice/rats, mouse traps, and yellow "cheese" wedges, indicating that "LEGOville", has a rodent problem.
I feel like I keep mentioning the Maersk Triple-E container ship, but this one also has a brilliant Easter Egg: a golden coin hidden below the mast on the foredeck. This is a clear reference to the age-old custom of shipwrights placing a coin below the main mast for good luck.
I bought Brick Bank purely for the money laundering joke. I’ve been hooked on the modular buildings ever since
3:17 Poland CAN into space
Polandball: Yay. I into space.
Every other countryball: How?
Bro when i saw this easter egg i genuinely got flashbacks from summer 2019.Ahhh good times it was back then.
Yea Poland, me from Poland 🇵🇱
How Poland in to space
@@N4TH3N96 poland into space by magics.
I ordered one of those personalized minifigs from LEGO a few years ago when they were offering those the first time before they stopped making them for a long time. Mine came with a white 1x3 brick with a unique code of letters and numbers, but also a tiny QR code. I scanned it and was sent to some random website that wasn’t at all affiliated with LEGO. It was strange, lol
3:35 Finally, poland can into space!
FINALLY!!!
3:00 ... they should go one step further and make the Hering green.
(As in old black and white filming the color red didn't translate well and looked odd - so they used green. For example for lipstick and shoes and stuff - because the green object in b/w looked more red.)
Green object in black and white TV looks either black, white, or some shade of grey. Because, get this.... BW televisions do not show colours.
@@anteshell Yes. It's not about hue, it's about reflection and brightness and how cameras back then worked.
And as far as I read they preferred green tones over similiar bright red ones, because it yielded a better result.
I knew the Red Herring one from Monkey Island of all things... in MI 1 a Troll guards a bridge and only lets You pass when You bring him something "that looks important but isn't". The answer is that You cook him a red herring. One of the things i had to look up playing the game because of english not being my native tongue
There's probably some symbolism there. The Troll is supposed to be George Lucas, it's like saying he takes useless but interesting things and "makes a meal" out of them. Considering he was their boss it's probably not serious though.
Hey Spit Brix! I’ve been binge watching your videos like crazy lately! Thanks for another video!
When you think about it, Lego made the secrets but you built them.
The photo you showed of Henrik Andersen is not the LEGO Star Wars designer. Henrik, whom I’ve met, is bald and wears glasses. The photo you showed is of Henrik Andersen a front end engineer at LEGO.
How common of a name is that?
Henrik is currently the 6th on the list of boys names, and Andersen is 4th on the list of surnames, so there is a lot of Henrik Andersen
@@mariepindstruplinde1671 So it's entirely reasonable for a big company like Lego to have more than one.

Cant wait for the lego money laundering business set!
I bought a second-hand Lego Minecraft set (not The End) today and it had that printed brick in it. I had no idea what it was! Thank you for solving that riddle for me :)
In set 31133 (White Rabbit 3-in-1) step 9 of the rabbit build puts a heart inside it, which gets completely covered up by step 30 (of 88).
I still can’t find my Lego chainsaw
In the first set:
I can’t get over that piece of gum. 🤯🤣 and I can imagine Hawkeye doing it just to upset Tony. 🤣
4:42 the best new lego animal is mosquito 🦟
What?
3:22 black white red reminds me of something (german empire 1892 )
Yo SpitBrix! Like all the other comments you'll probably see, just here to say your content is sooo cool. I came across you a while ago and then randomly stopped. Recently I just found your channel again, and have been really enjoying the quality of your videos, so thanks and keep it up!
now im just remembering that Black Mesa is referenced in Lego Dimensions lol
3:30 It could be WW1 Germany 💀
I love how in the Homer Simpson brickheadz he has a tiny pink brain 😂
Spiecially printed LEGO pieces were also awalible in two LEGO Movie sets (Benny’s Spaceship and Emmet’s Mech). Great wideo btw❤
Sounds to me like Lego has more pink plastic than they know what to do with and just need to get rid of it. 😂
0:52 oh. thats one hell of a sentence
Facts😊
I know someone who works as a bank teller and apparently they do occasionally wash paper money in washing machines before sending them back out in circulation
Ya know. A lot of these secrets are really cute. I never thought about it before, but I really found them all so funny or adorable.
It's worth watching. I still have a long way to go.
Speaking of individually printed pieces, did you know that ever Lego Bugatti set has its own special code as well!
Lego engineering is one of the coolest jobs 😅
The 2024 LEGO Minecraft set "The Turtle Beach House" has twice as many pink bricks as one would think from the images. Two are for the pink bed but two more, a 2×4 brick and jumper, are made into a block and placed inside of the house's BRICK built HEAD. It's even on a jumper which is normally reserved for blocks your intended to remove like ores.
Sidenote: how is the Turtle Warrior supposed to defend the turtle eggs and babies without a weapon? It's a good thing there's a spare trident. It also comes with a spare baby turtle so you can build four or use the shell as a scute if you want.
The Daytona SP3 set also has a piece with a unique print like The End Battle set. It's a 1x4 tile with a unique number on it. It's hidden away under the front hood, but it's a cool little easter egg
It’s always fun to have to the strangest colors in Lego sets, but after the build you won’t notice them anymore. Builders only. The elevators and stairs in the Empire State Building are also a nice hidden feature.
Love the videos mate :)
Another great video from my new favourite LEGO TH-camr. Please keep doing what you're doing in exactly this style. I'd love to see more secrets and cool things in LEGO sets I want to buy some day. Are there any more video game licensed LEGO sets that are unique? I love that Portal one
i love these tiny details it really makes it so much better
I actually have that Lego dobby set and I have built it and I have the Lego WALL·E and eve set and the toolbox in WALL·E’s hand are supposed to represent his cooler that he uses as a backpack
3:17 smart move to add the black stripe on top
02:43
I grew up on Murder Mysteries do a detective with a red herring wasn't a stretch for me to pick out.
Thanks so much I did not know what the code brick is and I had one in my collection. I thought it was really rare and now I know.
The Lego Koenigsegg Jesko Speed Champions set has a swedish flag built on the inside that you cant see unless you built it, Keonigsegg is a swedish vehicle company so it makes sense
4:17
That newspaper is from the scooby doo van set
Love the buzz lightyear battery one! ☝
Here’s a fun theory, I had to figure out on my own! Going back to the Portal 2 Level pack, you’d be forgiven if playing the game, and learning the the sentry turret is not only a friendly turret, but also unable to shoot anything, at first. The reason? It’s most likely the Prophet Turret, from the second game!
0:41 this might also be a nod to the “hide a pink brick in a set get a cake” thing lego did
Just as a point of note, one-time use codes were also present for the bionicle rhotuka spinners in 2005, as well as fo all the 2007 exo-force sets.
3:18 that ain’t the polish flag 💀

I remember secret codes in Lego Sets. They where quite frequently used in ExoForce sets
8:25 the spaceship from the Lego movie line also has this feature but I got no idea where to Put the code 😢
Now I finally know that these pink bricks are meant to be brains
This nostalagic I used to watch this guy as a 9yo
The polish flag stuck out to me because im from Poland and I saw that and was like "what is this flag doing here?"
on the "tales of the space age" lego set, it clearly states in the instruction books what the red and white bricks represent and why they are there
Dżens Woznica doesn't sound like polish at all. You probably meant Jan (as subtittles say) Woźnica?
It's approximated pronunciation in english is [yahn vozynitsa] ("ts" as in "kats" or "c" without h in ch, leaving only "soft c" - like s & sh being counterparts to c & ch)
The space age set moon build reminded me of the twin sun from star wars
Actually those eyes were the eyes of the fish that the crocodile just ate
8:09 i still have one of those bricks unredeemed
There are 2 french flags in the concorde lego set hidden, as it was made by the French and British
While assembling the McLaren F1 Senna Tribute set, it has you put the colors of the Brazil (where Ayrton Senna was from) flag together under one of the side pods (I think).
1:19 London buses no longer look like that
Well shoot, now im spending all day checking my star wars sets for pink bricks...
I actually have the one with the Poland flag, I have like 3 Lego sets. Wasn't expecting any of them to be on the list
Bro it’s Anderson not Andersen or maybe I’m wrong but idk that part stood out to me
It’s Andersen, he’s Danish. Unfortunately, the photo is of the wrong Henrik Andersen!
The Minecraft code brick reminds me of the Exo-Force sets that had tiles with codes to unlock online content.
8:04 i got that when i was young and i think i threw away that brick, also i tore the build appart.
I’ve had that set the whole time and didn’t even know the brick was there 😭
Would be cool to have Resident Evil and Silent Hill Lego sets 👍
I would love a silent hill lego set.
Rip dobby.
I found a misprint! Shrieking shack and whomping willow, step number 60, 61, and 62. The claw piece is going Thread the cross beam thingy
The pink brick in Star Wars sets is still a thing. There's a couple in the Invisible Hand display model.
The recent Executor has some studs inside to represent the bounty hunters in Empire Strikes Back
I got that Minecraft set, the code was so cool when I was younger!
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH POLAND REFERENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11!!!!!
8:29 I have to go on a scavenger hunt for this brick, cuz I have the mini fig and I remember being confused on why that one brick had a code on it…
3:17 Poland CAN ITNO SPACE
Great secret details
3:41 how do you write the desinger name?
You cant
The last one I have one of those bricks and I had no clue why it had numbers on it
It’s not money laundering. It’s money laundry.
Genius
I especially love the Crocodile tears one here but all are amazing with great info attached.
0:32 bro its PINK😂
I have the lego "the end battle" and that code is still unused 😅
3:18 that ww1 German too💀
Lego set 75372 has a pink cylinder that is in the octuptarra droid’s head, representing the droid brain. Pretty cool
3:21 WHY DOES IT LOOK LIKE THE GERMAN RECTANGLE FLAG!?
The new millennium falcon display set has some fun hidden secrets. Look into it
I thought that was gum right away
As a note to the Buzz Lightyear battery one, also notable is the alternating positioning shown in the instructions, (one pair of opposite corners right-side up, the other upside-down) how a lot of battery operated electronics hold them.
I love ❤your videos 😊
