- The new LEGO UP House is a hit, but I have never been a fan of the open back buildings. Fortunately we have people like Kim Plata, aka @brickartisan who create amazing alternative builds of new LEGO sets. In this video I review his MOC of LEGO set #43217 "UP" House.

Thank you again. I had fun watching you and Mindy build the house. I’m happy to see it in Mindyapolis 😊👍
😇 Super🦸♀️ colorful🏳️🌈
It looks fantastic but to be more screen accurate it should be between two sky rises. Still a great addition to Mindyopolis
😇 Super🦸♀️ adventurous 🧭
1:23 you have to lower the bag a stud because it helps him stand with it on
Came here to say this exact thing. He’s really stable when the bag is on the right studs
Love the Temple build.
Holy crap...this is very very tempting!
@1:20 He will fall over because you've put his backpack too high. You need to lower it down and then the backpack will sit level with his legs.
I got it, built it and think about closing it at the back, too.. this may be a nice way to do it. 😊
Nice looking set
Looks great, I almost got this but did something a little different with two sets.
It look great
I bought the Lego UP house for my little brother Sergio's birthday party.
There’s a different rebrickable that has a better back which isn’t flat like what Kim did.
You could use transparent panels to lift it off its base
Cool idea!
The LDS temple build 😭
If LEGO actually listened to their customers they would have sold a balloon add on pack for this set
😇 Super🦸♀️ musical 🎼
It would have been cool to place it in the middle of downtown to capture where it was in the beginning of the movie
Ok. Crazy thought ... Up house moves left, leave 4 or 6 studs between Simpsons and UP.
Red Roof Creator, remove the front yard stuff, and move it beside the skinny houses on the side and Up and the RRC can share a side yard?
I think that might work. Thanks!
What kind of display case are you using to store all those minifigs?
He did do a video on one new deeply case
The up house would make sense next to the construction site, or floating above the city
Having it float above the city would be pretty cool.
What is the width of the house? Could it squeeze on to a 16x32 baseplate?
The base of the house is 18x16, I think it's possible.
What’s the cost for pieces on bricklink
I Heard interesting theory that this in movie Is hidden 5 stages of grief:
1.)denial |2.)Anger |3.)bargaining |4.)depression |5.)acceptance
I would give up everything for a basement with a Lego city
There is a new floor of the sitcomplex it’s the bts set
:D
Very awesome...I wondered why it was not a complete building as a set as well. But this came out amazing and now I want to go for it too.
Maybe the bowling alley could go elsewhere? And keep the red roof house in the neighbourhood 🤷♂️
As cool as that bowling alley is, it does take up a lot of space. Might need to find a better spot.
Now, I haven't seen Up, but isn't that house supposed to be like, in the middle of the downtown area, blocking the construction of a skyscraper or something?
Yes, it is. Maybe I should have it floating above the city?
@@alexnunes Lol, that would certainly help with having enough space for it!
Very good review but I unfortunately have very little interest in either one of these sets.
Pin?
The build is still way too small and the roof is flat in spots where it shouldn’t be. Kim should’ve expanded the front a bit to allow for a more detailed and accurate interior. This build is decent, but my Up House is so much better.
@princess_mep and can you send me the instructions for the legos up back
