- 🎸Hi friend!!! In this video I share with you the new FORTIN NAMELESS X by NEURAL DSP. Overall I think this amp ABSOLUTELY ROCKS!!! I can say that THIS IS THE BEST HIGH GAIN AMPSIM right now! super BLOWN AWAY by this one. 😅 I can't wait to compare it to the Amplitube version of it!!! But, its not only awesome distortion, I found the clean channel to be incredibly usable and an excellent pedal platform, anyway!!

This is one of those instances where EMG 81s (for the nice clean signal) downtuned mega low would probably sound good. I always struggle with modern metal sounds. 😂 Actually, I really enjoy EMGs for amp modelers. Even for cleans.
Yeah, that’s what I’m wondering. I got a guitar with Fishmans, I’ll try tomorrow in a live stream probably. And to me, emg makes AWESOME CLEANS 🤣🤣🤣 IMO, they’re so sparkly and the compression really works to your advantage. Except if you want to play blues. But overall sparkly wonderful cleans!! Just like in the 80’s!!
I tried the demo. It was way to harsh for me. Maybe good for 8 string guitars tuned down.
It’s too much for me, but it’s that noise 🤣 it just doesn’t go away!!! Like you say, maybe it works better with down tuned guitars? Who knows lol thanks for your comment friend!

I’m glad I’m not the only one who’s noticed there’s a lot of noise that seeps through even with noise gates on. But yeah, with the amp being a hot rodded Marshall, the grind pedal is stupidly heavy handed towards mid/upper frequencies, and I think Mikko Logren said IRs are from one of the brightest Mesa cabinets he has, this plugin isn’t friendly for standard tuning 😂
