At my school trombone really isn’t really bad like my school thinks because we have like 2 trombone (me and another person) that know how to play everyone chooses different instruments like the trumpet
Whenever i play even if I'm just practicing I have to kind of scowl or squint my eyes because the pressure that I get in my head from whenever I'm playing the high note sometimes or just really really low it starts to hurt the back of my head so that's why I always squint my other friend who also plays trombone he does that as well.
I come back to this video so much as a bass trombone player this is just everything. when you get a spicy low note beat you gotta make that face if that’s not what you look like when playing a cool low part then you’re not doing it right.
I make the same face on euph. Furrowed brows for the lowwww notes and raised brows for the hiiiiigh notes. Can confirm eyebrow expressions make playing hard notes at least 13% easier.
