OMG you have woken me up even more! You make excellent points - compassion is vital for true health. Our energy moves us, so good administration of energy equals health. Stress is toxic, it drains you. What gives you energy? Good sleep, yoga, meditation, ping pong. But people don't connect high sex drive to being healthy or young, because it's intense. Yet life is intense. So what increases sex drive? Activities like weight lifting, particularly working large muscle groups like legs and core, boost testosterone. High testosterone signifies vitality and is linked to longevity. Intermittent fasting also elevates T. Furthermore, feeling happy and relaxed lifts libido by triggering dopamine and oxytocin. So being your best self holistically - mentally, physically, socially - stokes energy for both life and lovemaking. It's about joyful wellbeing. That's the healthy sweet spot.
The oil stuff sound incredible good.
Sea salt, copper and silver and gold chains or in the skin help you also.
    Wow.

I buy that because there is no silver bullet like he says some people can eat certain lectins my wife’s aunt lived to be 100 she ate, all kinds of stuff but she prepared it. She had a ironclad routine every day and a very kind person so what works for one most of the time doesn’t work for everyone also eat less and less frequently that’s for sure

i’m living example of a vegetarian I never fell for vegan because I eat lots of eggs I eat butter and occasionally sourdough very seldom but that has worked quite well for me and sometimes I take fish collagen.
quite often I do vegetable juicing with mainly spinach carrots and celery that does wonders for me as well take a lot of supplements a lot of them are proteins like carnitine and a whole huge list. This has been the best thing I ever did in 1999. I’m over 60 and believe me my genetation looks like my parents and act like my parents… tired….

Good day, Mr. Asprey. I noticed that the geranylgeraniol is 5mg; would it be beneficial to increase the GG through another supplement to increase testosterone? If advisable, would it be necessary to increase the daily dosage of any or all of the other DAKE/Minerals by the same ratio to balance the daily overall dosage?.
    Thank you, for your time.

Nothing to do with energy but just something I noticed about how companies use their products. My example is eyebrow pencil. I had chemo, using castor oil my hair grew back even better than before. My eyebrows were thick and beautiful. To add shape I started to use eyebrow pencils. My eyebrows have thinned drastically,so much that I need eyebrow pencil every day. Just food for thought

Look at the sunlight warming the day. The light you see has traveled over ninety-million miles to greet you. These rays arrive, one after another, every instant to brighten the world around you. But if you were to hold up a convex lens, you would experience even more of its power.
Imagine harnessing the power of your mind like a convex lens. Like cars merging when lanes are reduced, you can concentrate your thoughts together.
What could you switch off today so that all your power might converge like rays of the sun brought into a focus?

Funny…. if I have pain in the neck or on the back, I always think of what I ate last night… Usually I try not to eat after 5 o’clock but current example I have been in the neck this morning in the bag and what did I have last night? A delicious sandwich of one slice of English muffin and a big tomato it’s a tomato sandwich well if that is not electing meal what is? The lots of arugula and extra virgin olive oil I had on it didn’t do a darn thing.…. but I like tomatoes so once in a while, I splurge and then I guess it…LOL

I literally knew this...our ancestors would need some folks who naturally in the dark hours are AWAKE- to warn to watch. I would think- I haven't seen whole video yet- but I woudl think those folks might have higher levels of anxiety, adrenaline...At 47:50 the fact that mothers milk is SATURATED DOESN'T PROVE his point- it's for BABIES who need to grow fast AND BODY IS LITERALLY BEING CREATED. Some of his examples are similar they lack nuance.
For ex. midway he says "our ancestors lived on cabbage and some other plant food, and IF THEY WERE LUCKY some bits of pork" so that sounds like carbs to me...yet he spends the entire time decrying plant/veggies...
I'm gonna go with the studies that show LONGEST LIVED FOLKS eat primarily plants.
Also and I"m not being rude this is my impression: he doesn't seem healthy to me, he's sniffling the whole time, he's coloration seems odd, no glow. Plus he's constantly needing to do his biohack sniffy stuff. The end. I trust the Daoists more than him.

Lots of good info but many holes in arguments about plant based lifestyles, too much to go into. I will say though, humans have zero enzymes to break down animal fat and animal protein. We also have zero instinct to chase after a squirrel, attack it and eat every part of it. We do not salivate when we see a cow, but we are attracted to plants that are colorful and juicy. There are many many flaws in what Dave is sharing. Regardless, mahalo to MindValley.

    • @birgip.m.1236
      @birgip.m.1236 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      True.
We don't have the enzymes to digest & process...metabolize & integrate dairy.
      Butter is dairy.
Most have some reaction to dairy... whether they realize it or not.
Singers know not to consume dairy before a gig.
      Why?
      >Consuming dairy produces mucous.
      Why?
      >Mucous is one of the body's immune responses when trying to get rid of something it doesn't like ... a pathogen not good for it.
But the cattle-meat & dairy industries have lots of lobbying & promo.
All that said, I also don't think overly processed food of any kind is good for us...even if plant-based / vegan.
We have gone so far away from health & healthy natural living.

There are a lot of indigenous cultures that hunt after animals. In fact, human brains only started to grow much bigger after we started to eat (more) meat. If you would live in the woods without Cosco or Taco Bell around, believe me, you would start to run after squirrels and everything else that moved. And your reflex to start chewing on random plants would also be low. The native North American Indians used to chase after bisons and they where the tallest and strongest people. Only after we switched more to grains our health started to go downhill fast. In any case, in most parts of the world fruit and veggies are only available seasonally.
