  • Forty-seven years ago, Skeed Borkowski came to Likely, B.C., Quesnel Lake and the Quesnel River. The fishing kept him there ever since. Borkowski owns Northern Lights Lodge, a beautiful resort close to the mouth of the Quesnel River, which he fishes with clients in drift boats and waders.
    “The rainbow trout fishing is incredible. They are natural, incredible rainbow trout. They don’t have stocked fish in this area of B.C. They are hard-fighting river fish. And when (my clients) get a big one, they can’t believe the fight of these fish …”

    Got beavermouth 30minutes from my house always catching rainbows bull trout and bass right where Beaver Creek joins the quesnel

    Looks so peaceful. I hope you are right about cell phone coverage and the peacefulness
