Brendon, love the content. I have to relive my memories going forward. I have just been put on long term disability for mobility issues. I have been looking for lodges etc that offer accessable fishing without much luck. Most of all though I am going to miss the sockeye and spring runs on the Frazer. I wish I had seen your channel earlier so that I might have been able to meet you and cast a bunch of lines with you.
    Brent

Brendan, been watching your stuff for a year now. Was a seaplane pilot on the coast so always loved watching the salt episodes. If you ever are in need of a camera man who also loves fishing and an easy hangout fella, then I’d love to jump on board for a trip!

Thank you for the excellent video. I agree those horsefly strains are special looking and really like to rise. I once that that lake on a boatman fall one year. Made fishing so simple with a floatman. That boat launch really thins out the people. Let alone the drive!

Appreciate your desire to hear peoples backstories. 52 years, imagine what was there in 1970, talk about remote BC.
As much as I very much applaud & agree with your conservation rhetoric, please tell me you had a lovely meal with one of those trout?

We did not have any trout but they did make us one hell of a good brisket!

Stud trout! Miss fishing up in mid and northern BC. Great memories from the late 80's and 90's dishing there as a kid/young adult.

Thanks for the vid, those horsefly’s are sure pretty. Funny how the same species can look so different in lakes, like the greenback walleyes etc!

@@KBosch-xp2ut i was up again last fall, and then this past spring too. Buttoning up a camping site that we've had for decades. It was atrocious, trying to do even the simplest task. But even more painful, was being back up there in prime-time, just ice-off, and not being on a fishing trip. I was dying inside, driving past all those lakes and rivers.
