BEACH in JAKARTA?! 😱🇮🇩 - Visiting Ancol Beach, Trying Martabak Telor, Indonesia Travel Vlog

- On our last day in Jakarta, we finally made it to Ancol Beach! We took a grab to Ancol Beach right after finally trying Gado Gado by Chinatown (watch that video here: • First Time Trying Gado... ). However we didn't know that there was a fee to enter the beach area! Our grab driver explained everything to us and told us we could buy tickets online, but our card wasn't working on the website and we were unable to buy tickets. He dropped us off at the entrance to Ancol and we walked up to pay. There were many different options such as Dufan fantasy world, sea world, a bird land, and more! We just bought the normal Ancol Beach entrance ticket for 25,000 Rp each ($1.70 USD).
The first thing we saw when we entered Ancol was the Symphony of the Sea fountain. Next to the fountain there were lots of street food stalls set up like a beach boardwalk! We bought some lemonade (one super sweet and one sour) and walked around the Ancol boardwalk. It was the perfect place to watch sunset in Jakarta! There were many boats you could take a ride on and we were also able to walk across the famous love bridge which is made in the shape of a heart. After exploring the boardwalk and beach area we decided to stop for our favorite MARTABAK! We tried our first martabak telur filled with chicken which was SO good and we followed that by our favorite chocolate kacang martabak. It was such a great day at Ancol Beach Jakarta!!!

If you want to enjoy the beautiful beaches in Indonesia, go to the east part of Indonesia, the coral reefs are amazing, blue sea, white sands beach. If you like to do scuba diving, eastern part of Indonesia has so many diving spots

Developing Metropolis lol whole Indonesia is Newly Industrialized Country and even less developed area in Jakarta has higher GDP per capita than Malaysia .

Martabak really has two types of friends, namely fried Martabak and wet Martabak. The difference is that the fried Martabak contains eggs, spring onions and chicken, while the wet Martabak contains cheese and chocolate.
They're both so good, but we love the chocolate 😍😍😍

Sumatera is 473.481 km² while all Thailand size is 513.120 km²,,if surrounding islands of sumatera like anambas islands, natuna islands, bangka-belitung islands, mentawais etc added it's possibly bigger than all of Thailand.

Try crossing the sea by boat.. Jakarta also has natural small islands with beautiful marine tourism objects. Kepulauan Seribu (Thousand Islands).

North Jakarta has so many place to visit,. PIK (pantai Indah Kapuk) is one of then. ) But you have to go to Sumatra ...so see you on sumatra, bukit Lawang you must visit ( there's orang utan sanctuary,hikking track, river tubing, etc)

Jakarta has many beaches actually - we call them Pulau Seribu but you have to cross using boat from Ancol or Muara Angke. There are Pulau Harapan, Pulau Untung Jawa, Pulau Harapan and many more

One thing i would like suggest you guys..
We Indonesian love sweet taste in the dessert (and i mean really really love). For things like fruit juice, we usually put gula (sugar) and susu kental manis (condense milk) in it..
But almost every time you can request the seller to reduce that.. so if you don't like it to be too sweet, just tell them.. for example, tidak pakai gula (no sugar) or sedikit gula (just a litle sugar).
And btw, I'm curious, Is there any special reason why natalie wanted to go to sumatera?
At first we said no sugar, but then Carles changed his to lemon yogurt or something.....so mine ended up with no sugar and he had a lot 🤣🤣🤣
Carles was the one who really wanted to go to Sumatra! He's obsessed with nature documentaries/the jungle/tigers/orangutans/etc lol. Honestly at first I didn't know much about it.....but we had an amazing time 😍
@@NataliesPassport in case you're going to visit Sumatera, maybe you can drop by for a visit at Way Kambas National Park...
It doesn't have orangutan...
but it does something bigger than orangutan... it has elephants...
Let's GO SUMATRA !!! ...... don't forget to visit the National Park called "Way Kambas" and lake Toba

Just try to Visit Pulau Seribu (Seribu/Thousand Islands) ..you can use a boat from Ancol Dock or Muara Baru Dock to Pulau Seribu , there's A log of good islands to visit

Try to visit komodo dragon island at Labuan Bajo, Bali Indonesia. At there, you can try to snorkeling and the view is so very beautiful.

Me again lol, I hope you see my reply in the other video lol but in case you don’t. If you visit my hometown of Bandung, do try both of this places. Both Sundanese restaurants (a specialty of West Java food) ‘Raja Rasa’ and ‘Warung Cepot’. The address appeared on the google map of course.
