We were there at the end of May. If you didn't like climbing down to Diamond Beach, it's good you didn't even try to go down to Kelingking Beach. It's so steep and a lot of times you have to hold onto the fence or ropes to hike up or down. My wife hated me that day because of that climb. On the way back we met even a woman who was crying and her legs were shaking, that's how terrified she was. But when you get down to the beach, it's pure paradise. That was the most beautiful beach we ever have been on. The swim was awesome, even though the waves can get a bit dangerous. Enjoy your time in Indonesia, it's such a beautiful country
Oh wow I didn’t know Kelingking was even worse 😱 I probably would’ve been shaking too 😅 although I bet it’s so worth it once you get down to the beach! ❤️

Way less people then because the ferry has left for the main island. Still, thank you for visiting Penida and bringing us along ❤
😅 it was so much scarier than I expected!! We considered going back to one of them for sunset, but we didn’t want to drive back in the dark. Hopefully next time ❤️
I really appreciate when vloggers explained the reality that it's (too) crowded in some locations 👍 it's not "picture perfect" & not everybody can tolerate such 😊 imho lots of tourists spot should take Borobudur (nowadays) as an example where the number of visitors is limited each day
It’s true 🥺 Nusa Penida has some of the most gorgeous views ever, but it’s ruined a little when there are so many people.. it was definitely nice to see Borobudur without such a big crowd! Although it’s hard to imagine a way to limit people on Nusa Penida that isn’t negative 🤔❤️

if want to get white sand, go to melasti beach ... and i think it has a club also ... Tanah Lot also one of tourist place ... and u can have experience by choose seafood (fish, prawn,etc) at the market in Kedonganan and cook in the nearby restaurant .. if u want go to the tourist village and famous as 3 of cleanest village in the world, can go to Panglipuran Village ... for adventure, can go to Ayung River to do rafting ... and dont forget to do dive (ship wreck) in Gili Trawangan ...

Currently, a glass elevator is being built at Kelingking Beach, Nusa Penida Those who disagree reasoned that it would damage the hill, while those who agreed said it would make it easier for tourists to go down to the beach and the surrounding villages would get money from the investment.
Ahhh it’s hard… Nusa Penida has some of the most iconic spots in all of Bali that we were really happy we got to see! However having so many tourists does make the experience less fun… I guess it depends how much time you have and what your priorities are. If you don’t mind missing really iconic spots like kelingking and diamond beach, there are so many other places to explore in Bali! ❤️
Depends what time of day you go to these spots and how long you’re staying on the island. Most of the peak times are due to day trippers so if you’ve got a few days on Nusa Penida, choose to do locations like Kelingking after the day trippers go home. I arrived around 4:30pm did the whole climb and was rewarded with an amazing sunset 🌅
