But I really don't know if this is what the Lord wants for me. If He wants me to be married, I'll be happy. And if He wants me to stay single, I'll be happy.
After several breakups before I knew Christ and then a few failed relationships once I did, I realized that there are sometimes dysfunctional things that need to be addressed in our own lives before courting/being courted. Allowing God to work through me and not focus or worry about women has been a gamechanger. Sometimes you need to let go of what you want, and let God show you what you truly need (Him).
Facts. I remember when I was 30 this older guy told me he said man you need to 86 women right now focus with God get your life together I fought against what he was saying but I realize I spent years trying to make women feel happy a lot of money and there's nothing wrong with that but I think we spent so much time chasing instead of really just getting healed getting our emotional health together you're not financial help together
right . after watching this video, i realized that i will let God now lead me to the right one. meanwhile, have to work out on myself to be the right one ☺️
I have been single since 2017 when my fiancé and I ended our relationship. I was saved in November 2020 when I was contemplating ending my life. At that time I pledged purity until marriage. Hey Kathryn, I really understand your struggle. We have exactly the same timeline, ended relationship in 2017, met Christ in 2020 when I was suicidal. From my experience sister, just wait on God. He has someone perfect planned for you!! I got impatient and found someone before my time and I don't recommend that. You need someone who is in Christ as much as you are!
I really needed this message. I didn't realize that I was the reason my past relationships didn't work. I AM THE PROBLEM. It's because my focus wasn't on God. I took my ears, eyes, and heart away from Him in the pursuit of love from people. Why would I not seek love and a relationship from the Creator of those things? I'm not really sure, but I am seeking it now! Amen.

Well…I’m 64, he’s 52. He found me. We both have been celibate for years. God put us together…we’ve both waited. We’re still waiting. In God’s time not ours. We’ve never touched. I pray all the time..Jesus and God said we were good and faithful servants. God, told me we were each other’s gift. Still a work in progress. We are both very established in God. Glory goes to God!!

Thamk you for this. I grew up in a baptist church that was ptetty toxic and all the books, movies, and people around me were constantly shoving down our throats tbat we were not " accomplished" in life or " serving God" if we werent married right away and that matriage is always the end goal. This and some other things pushed me unto the path of going to all different guys trying to find someone to make me feel worthy and feel like i was making people proud. I fed myself the belief that you can make yourself love someone even if they are toxic and cheating etc. After my last failed relationship it was so bad i broke down, and started realizing i was seeking a peace and worth i could only find in God. The past year i have begun trying to find more about myself and how to heal trauma and become closer to God. Singleness has helped me in so many ways to quit shoving my problems down and try to find comfort in people. I understand marriage is a beautiful thing in Christ, but i am loving this time i have spent by myself.

The only one that has always been hard for me is to be connected to a good community. Where I live there are not godly christian communites that provide that. I prefer to be single than to compromise, so sometimes I feel that finding a proper mate is almost impossible. Great video, I was in a beautiful marriage before my now ex wife left me,i still love her and most times i can't stop thinking about her, i am doing my very best to get rid of the thought of her, but i just can't, i love her so much, i don't know what i am bring this here for, i can't stop thinking about her.
it's always difficult to let go of someone you love, i was in a similar situation my wife for 12 years left me, i couldn't just let her go i did all i could to get her back, i had to seek the help of a spiritual adviser who helped me bring her back.

I'm 61 and have longed for a Christian mate my entire life. At this point the season of waiting has become an eternity. I no longer have any faith or hope of God ever leading a spouse to me. For me this is very depressing. I have completely given up on ever experiencing the one thing I've longed deeply for my entire life. 😢
I went through that same emotion as a single mom of 3. But God called me and as I became hungry for him. I prayed every morning at 4am and every night before bed. I fed my spirit with the word of God every day. I prayed for my husband everyday. I kept searching what is real love like through God. I did everything to work on myself for my future husband. I fasted and prayed so much to the point where I saw myself as a bride to Jesus and one day through threads on social media a poetic man caught my attention. God led him to me because he messaged me. We talked and connected instantly. He was a man of God as well so it all worked out.
(Part 2) But I fasted and prayed so much to confirm with God. God did confirm with me. I have yet to meet him in person but we even tested our patience within 2 months of just talking. He’s definitely my gift from God and it’s a beautiful feeling so don’t give up. Work on yourself first and your time will come. You will be in the right place at the right time before you know it 🙏

The timing of watching this was spot on. This was amazing. Thank you so much. It confirms that I am on the right track as of a year ago I surrendered my life to Jesus and got out of a relationship. I ask for prayer for him. Pete has respiratory failure. He saw his doctor on Thursday. It was bad news. He has to wait a month to find out if he has cancer. I pray for him every day. The cancer of his lung . I have never stopped loving him. He had good points.
The only one that has always been hard for me is to be connected to a good community. Where I live there are not godly christian communites that provide that. I prefer to be single than to compromise, so sometimes I feel that finding a proper mate is almost impossible. But I will certainly continue to work on being secure in Christ and strong in character until the last day of my life. Thank you for the message!

Great video, I was in a beautiful marriage before my now ex wife left me,i still love her and most times i can't stop thinking about her, i am doing my very best to get rid of the thought of her, but i just can't, i love her so much, i don't know what i am bring this here for, i can't stop thinking about her.
it's always difficult to let go of someone you love, i was in a similar situation my wife for 12 years left me, i couldn't just let her go i did all i could to get her back, i had to seek the help of a spiritual adviser who helped me bring her back.

I'm 61 and have longed for a Christian mate my entire life. At this point the season of waiting has become an eternity. I no longer have any faith or hope of God ever leading a spouse to me. I went through that same emotion as a single mom of 3. But God called me and as I became hungry for him. I prayed every morning at 4am and every night before bed. I fed my spirit with the word of God every day. I prayed for my husband everyday. I kept searching what is real love like through God. I did everything to work on myself for my future husband. I fasted and prayed so much to the point where I saw myself as a bride to Jesus and one day through threads on social media a poetic man caught my attention. God led him to me because he messaged me. We talked and connected instantly. He was a man of God as well so it all worked out.
(Part 2) But I fasted and prayed so much to confirm with God. God did confirm with me. I have yet to meet him in person but we even tested our patience within 2 months of just talking. He’s definitely my gift from God and it’s a beautiful feeling so don’t give up. Work on yourself first and your time will come. You will be in the right place at the right time before you know it 🙏

The timing of watching this was spot on. This was amazing. Thank you so much. It confirms that I am on the right track as of a year ago I surrendered my life to Jesus and got out of a relationship. That was not what God would have me doing. I do feel secure in my relationship with Jesus. It has kept me strong for a year. I’m working on the community part because I am shy. Timing is so important.
