Another great video Tone! These automobile manufacturers need to stop hiring engineering graduates from the Rube Goldberg Institute of Automotive Design. Talk about overcomplicating things. I'll bet you were happy to see that car leave.
Had mine completely apart. Intake off. Dry as can be underneath in the valley area. Put together and the new Hyundai oil pressure sensor leaked thru the harness area. Replaced it and it did ok for months but somewhere around the oil filter housing is a massive leak which puddles on top of the transmission. Cant seem to locate it
I have no idea where the leak is coming from now it was coming from the top of the oil filter base but now it's leaking from the bottom I guess I'm about to take a deep dive here and see if you gave me some insight
Could you provide me with the part number for the engine oil filter base? I suspect there might be an issue with the valve that prevents the oil from draining back down. This is my latest analysis. However, despite extensive searching, I have not been able to find it here in Germany. I need the part number so I can search for it using the part number. Thank you very much for your assistance.
if oil is leaking on your belts then you probably have a front cover leak or something. The leak in this in this video I had belts getting soaked from front cover and oil leaking down trans from engine valley leak.
Hello, I have a 2006 Hyundai Sonata 3.3. Every time I start the engine after the car has been stopped for at least two hours, the oil pressure warning light stays on for exactly 3 seconds before turning off. Is this normal? I have replaced the oil pump, but the issue remains- the oil pressure light still stays on for 3 seconds before turning off. My car is in excellent condition, with only 98,000 km driven so far. If the engine is running and I stop the engine for a short period, around 15 minutes, then restart it, the oil pressure light turns off immediately. I have already changed the engine oil, the filter, and the oil pump. Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you.
first question is when you start it up and the oil light is on, is there noise from the engine, like noisy valves or ticking noise? Message me the vehicle info on Instagram and I can try to help you out.

Omg you have no idea. This was the longest process ever. Thanks for watching
It’s crazy that they changed the dimensions on the new part but bolts are so hard to find. Thanks for pointing that out.
Yeah I was actually really surprised and the way it sits so far below the head I almost didn't catch it. Thanks for watching Steve.

Man that really sucks sorry to hear. Is your oil filter housing leaking?

I am not sure, timing cover has coolant passage near engine valley.

Was the valley full of oil because of the leak? Which seal was the leaker?
The one near the timing cover. Thanks for watching
