I really wish you would have gone in to more detail on this restoration. I could have watched 10 hours of this. Especially the chuck tear down and reassembly to get it true. I have this same model and you're right, it's not common and parts are hard to come by.

    Hello Sir
I recently picked up a 645 Sioux valve grinder and I can’t figure out how to get an angle on the chuck I was wondering if you could explain it to me and my chuck has a wobble and wanted ask if you know a place that sell parts reasonably
I appreciate any advice you can give me!

@@redrovergarage3858 Hello yes there are lines with numbers under or over the lines but they are on the deck where the Chuck pivots on I used a wire brush on a drill and then used brake cleaner mine is very hard to read because of the amount of hours on my machine hopefully it helps oh I also used a very bright light 😀🇨🇦

I have a very old Sioux valve degree grinding machine and I face a problem while working on it .The stone head ie the slide rushes in even when very little pressure is applied. I have to literally push or stop it with hands while working. Can u pls help me to diagnose the?problem

I'm afraid the only experience I have with these machines is with this one. I don't know what might cause the problem you're having. Maybe give Goodson a try. www.goodson.com

Valspar Anti-Rust Armor tinted accordingly at the local hardware.
