I agree with you that more people need to be doing it, but all this kind of stuff was done every which way more than a hundred years ago. The cutting edge of experimentation isn't usually in the realm of the home garage (but there's always exceptions)
I’m not a ford or mopar guy. I’m a Chevy guy but whenever I see videos of people modifying ford blocks to run ls heads or full custom jobs making ls heads work for a six cylinder I absolutely am intrigued and wanna watch and see if it goes successfully and I also hope it does work successfully. I absolutely love these oddball, mixing of different automakers parts. I’m absolutely fascinated by it and will support you all the way through.
Just Golden! I grew up when Wally Booth was 'stacking' AMC head castings to get airflow and Bruce Sizemore was furnace brazing 351 Cleveland head segments together for his 300 Ford - I thought all of that became a lost art, thanks for bringing back REAL engine building skills!

Literally nothing about this project makes sense, and that's why I've been following avidly ever since I first found out about it! Glad to see it running! Congratulations from south-west England.
Happy Birthday! What a great engine. I’ve been waiting to see it run and it was well worth the wait. That sounds just perfect once you got it fired up.
That’s the one big step every car guy looks forward too it the first time the engine comes to life! Pretty awesome accomplishment! Happy Birthday hope you have a good one!

Back fire scared me too 🤣 awesome work man . I have a huge appreciation for what it takes to mix n match and sort this stuff out . Keep up the good work
You are awesome! I’ve been an in-line lover and racer for years. Edelbrock has a casting factory and all the design hardware needed to make the heads, cam, intake, exhaust, and control system. The 300 cu in Ford engine is so rad even with reworked stock heads. In the sixties, guys were chopping up ford Cleveland heads for drag racing.

Not much to putting a LS head on a SBF or a 300 6 seeing the LS is basically a windsor and a Cleveland head mixed together.
