OMG. I ve bought this game and havent played right. I ve rushed the story. Years later I want to play the way it should be. Pure realism and without help. I ve never thought about this kind of calculations with wind and gravity. Big Thx for the high-quality guide!
Part 1 & 2 are the best aiming guides for Sniper Elite 4 I have found. Thank you so much for taking the time to explain this out and for the sheet downloads. 👍🏻
Really great video, as always I want to also add a bit of my experience on the zeroing topic If I'm having trouble on sniping someone afar, let's say a sniper from 180 meters away, I would actually suggest using the 200m zero instead of the 100m one, and aim a bit lower rather than higher. This is due to the fact that the difference in the zeroing and the actual sniping dist. is lower than using a lower 1, thus you don't have to worry about gravity as much( even though you'd still have to deal with wind ), and aiming lower is due to the fact that the bullet will go higher as you're using a higher zero.
I'm gonna finish these videos and gonna put them to practice! This is a fun game even with the marks but I bet authentic mode knowing how to do it will feel amazing! Thanks for this great series!
Man, I wish Rebellion would add more varied targets in the range. This is really good stuff man! You should start a parton and do your guides for every rifle! 8:14 Oh, and I actually do set the next range for my target if it's at leat 20 meters under xD
Another brilliant video and very helpful. I'm looking forward to testing the T post-Tactical scope looks like it makes things easier to line up a shot. Thank you for all the time and effort these videos take with the editing and research/testing etc. It's appreciated.
@@BrutalBarracuda Thanka for sharing your experience on these sniper games! I cannot find the links to the wind chart and bullet drop chart were is the link?
I personally like the #4 Special a lot cause it has a lot of reference points in all directions. Nice guide tho, do you always use the springfield yourself or just for the vid cause of the high muzzle velocity?
Hey I just wanna tell you you succeded at your mission, me and my friends play without aim assist and the game is much much more enjoyable and rewarding that way, we play with your wind charts by our side lol, sniper + spotter style
1:11 You see how the aim assist flicks up every time he zeroes it by 100m? Zeroing essentially makes the cross hairs go "down", giving the perspective that the place where the bullet will land goes "up". When dealing with targets multiples of 100m away, it has the same effect as aiming where the aim assist lands, but it makes it easier because you don't have to work out the place where the bullet will land, just zero it correctly and aim at the centre of the crosshairs. It's basically just recallibration, like putting 100g of sugar on a scale and zeroing the scale. Let the 100g of sugar represent 100m zeroing, let the total amount of sugar at any given point represent the distance to the target and let the reading on the scale represent the amount of compensation you have to do. Now, add 50g more of sugar to the 100g and the scale will read 50g even though there are 150g on the scale. This works in the same way that if you zero your scope to 100 and aim at a target 150m away, you will only have to account for 50m of bullet drop. Alternatively, if you remove 25g of sugar, the scale will read -25g even though there are 75g of sugar still on the scale. This is like saying that if you zero your scope to 100m and aim at a target 75m away, you will have to aim 25m worth of bullet drop, but above the crosshairs not below. This is what he was talking about at the end of the video.
@@BrutalBarracuda I know and thanks to u I'm slowly getting away from aim assist I am working on doing the missions without it but I am using empty lung just to slow down time enough for me to make the shot

Great video!!! Thank you so much! Is possible to have the sheet already compiled for the Springfield as in the video, maybe with another link to download it. Thanks 💪🏻
Hey great video appreciate it allot, Maybe im just a idiot. But when i select the T Post Tactical scope it looks different then yours, with allot more lines on it. Any clue why this is?
@@BrutalBarracuda i think i just figured it out, Beacuse im playing on authentic plus my zoom is only times 6(Using Carcano), thats why i got more lines, I presume you cannot change the zoom on authentic plus and your spreedsheet wont be accurate for this? If so would you still recommend the same scope for authentic plus? Thank you
@@BrutalBarracuda My issue was that it looked a bit different, But it is the same its just less zoomed in when using a lower amout of zoom (a example on your video been 9:40). But your spreedsheet will still work with this and will still be accurate, Thank you for the responses appreciate it.
I agree. It syncs perfectly with the tactical t scope, and pretty much every 50m represents one vertical notch. Also, one notch on the wind bar is equivalent to the aiming at the edge of the short horizontal lines at 100m and at the edge of the long horizontal lines at 200m. It's easy to work out for 300m as well, as the wind increases linearly per 100m. You don't have to bother with the counting heads thing from the previous video.
@@rdb9936 It depends, the more you practise, the more shots you will land. Also trying to shoot in high winds will make things much trickier, bullet drop is much easier to deal with that wind.

I feel like the scopes should have more information on them. But it’s good to know each section is 50 meters.
Thanks, I've picked up this game a few days ago and this is perfect!
I kinda use the carbine which has a much higher bullet drop but it makes it easier to pick off targets one by one with the integral suppressor.
I hope in SE5 they gives us the correct tools to do this instead of having to do this ourselves. Like it should be an actual mechanic of the game.
