@@safecontact1 please explain who and how the commandments were changed. Which of three versions? The ones in Exodus 20:2-17; the ones in Deut 5:6-21 or the third version of commandments in Ex 34:11-26?
Different religions and sects have divided the Commandments in different ways. Of importance is that there were no spaces, chapters, numbering in the OT (and NT) until the 13th century AD (chapters) and numbering in the 16th century AD. Catholics, whom gifted the world with complete 73 books of the canon of the bible also gave us the numbering and chapters. As the Jewish Rabbis acknowledge: Yet another division is used in the Roman Catholic and Lutheran churches. *This follows the written text of Torah scrolls* and combines verses 2 through 6 into one commandment...

In my 76 years | have witnessed so many doomsday predictions I can't count them. Agreed Fr. Mark...Enjoy God's magnificent splendor we observe in our skies and know that He is God and has made this for Him, and for us to see His Hand. "But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone." Mark 13:32.
Sorry, buddy, but this one is far different than all the others and anyone with eyes to see in ears to hear. Should know this comes right out of the book of Revelation.

God bless you for sharing this. :) Side note, research into this has shared, ' For total solar eclipses, where the moon completely covers the sun, it works out to two eclipses every three years. Whether or not you can view that eclipse depends on where you are in the world. :) And, over the United States these are rare, ... the most recent total eclipse event to be visible over the US was in 2017 and the totality lasted about 2 1/2 minutes.' And, 'the next total solar eclipse that can be seen from the contiguous United States will be on Aug. 23, 2044.' So... Enjoy this beautiful spectacle but take the necessary eye protection precautions. :)

“Pray, Hope, and don’t worry”… just make sure you’re ALWAYS in a state of grace, and love God and all of Gods creatures. No point being anxious, nothing much we can do since evil is set in its ways, just worry about your own soul and pray for the conversion and salvation of all.
I won’t be napping tomorrow 😜 we just need to try our best to stay in the state of grace and ask for forgiveness, as well as, let others know of Gods great love and mercy.
Tomorrow evening we have our Spring Eucharistic Procession 🥰 I absolutely love participating in this and pray my legs will carry me through it. Peace be with you all.
I was in confession this morning. We all need to be in a state of grace. 2 priests were hearing confession during Mass. Nothing happens by chance. God is in control.

@@everfooty209 I live in Connecticut. Christ the King Church in Ridgefield, CT. We had a Low Mass yesterday. The prior made sure that the confessional was open on the Gospel side and the Epistle side. Catholic clergy know that there is a significance about the eclipse and the state of the world today.
It’s also Divine Mercy today.

Beautifully said. The clouds are breaking up in Bulverde, Texas. We are in 3 1/2 minutes of totality. Maybe the Lord will bless us and allow us to see his wonder. A clear message to the world on this feast day! Praise be the Lord!

My husband and I bought our children to see the eclipse. What beautiful and elegant order God has made in our universe! I was thinking so much of Our Lady, "Who is she that cometh forth as the morning rising! Fair as the moon, bright as the Sun, terrible as an army set in battle array!" If the eclipse was this beautiful, I cant imagine how astonishingly beautiful Our Lady is.

I have done the Divine Mercy Chaplet and Confession and feel great. This eclipse is a sign for the world not just America but bad things are coming from the church and man.

Yes, we noticed that too. We had a 4.8 quake in Northern California 12 hrs before the East Coast one, and I heard that the Dominican Republic also had a 4.8 earthquake, within the same 24 hrs. 🌟🌹🙏
We've lived through the 1989 Loma Prieta 6.8 magnitude quake in the San Francisco Bay Area, so under 5 is just a baby quake. Shalom 🕊️🌹🙏
@@zionlion4445 A 4.8 earthquake in NJ is a big deal. NJ doesn't get major earthquakes. My friend in NJ said it sounded like a helicopter was over her house. Her dishes were shaking in her china cabinet. This is very shocking for someone who lives in Cinnaminson NJ. My husband felt it in PA. We aren't accustom to having earthquakes in our area. So, it was a huge deal for us.

Was in Wyoming for the last eclipse, it was great! but the best was seeing everyone camped out, and the cheering with hundreds of strangers before and after, all instantly bonded by the awe of it all!
@livingforheaven There must be something wrong with me but I'm never interested in watching things happening like eclipses etc lol. What's so great about it ? I often wonder. I'm usually left underwhelmed by it . However for those who enjoy it , that's fine .I'm glad they enjoy it 😊

No, please don't think this way...I've been told that even with those special glasses 🕶️ (probably made in China ;), you can damage your eyes or burn your retina, by looking at a solar eclipse. I also heard that hundreds of thousands of people have traveled and flocked to hotels, from all around the world 🌎 just to see this...and I'm hearing it might be too cloudy to be able to see much. How bonkers is that?!
We have so many problems that we can't solve here, on our planet, on land, that I don't think much about space 🚀. I find the whole thing ridiculous, so you definitely have in me a friend in Christ. 🌟🌹🙏

Yes I know all that stuff about the special glasses , thousands flocking to see it and the weather can affect their viewing of it etc. it's good to know I'm not alone in finding all that stargazing and solar eclipse watching stuff tedious 😊 . If you and I find it uninteresting and not worth our time ( especially with all that's going on and needing fixed here right here on planet earth ) , then I'm sure there's thousands of others feel the same. God cleared our skies yesterday in order for us to see the eclipse. It was glorious !
Spend time in prayer during these hours asking on God's mercy.

1. It wasn't a GREAT earthquake in NY and NJ.
2. The scripture from Matthew speaks of the past, Christ's passion.
3. Total eclipses have happened before.
4. PLEASE STOP CHERRY PICKING SCRIPTURES LIKE PROTESTANTS
The earthquake in New Jersey was a 4.8 and the solar eclipse is on 4/8. Interesting...

Just confession, communion on DM Sunday received with the intention of venerating God's Mercy.

No one is calling you to be anxious but to Trust in Jesus and His Divine Mercy. If you are following Gods commandments then pray, give to others who are needy and heed Gods Warnings in case of Divine Justice !
Tired 🤔… the warnings are not for one person but for all humanity that is falling in sin… if you are 💯 % w/out sin so you don’t have nothing to change…. I feel that the warning are like the time of Noah, nobody believed him until it was to late.
Please just stop with the predictions of doom. The west has been conditioned to be in a state of perpetual anxiety for the last 30 years. I don’t remember what came first. HIV spreading and killing millions. Then SARS. The Swine Flu. One flu after another. Mosquitoes from South America spreading some horrible disease. Or was it bees? Then the Covid. Now it’s the eclipse.
