Donnie Iris is awesome! I came across this song when it was first released in Australia back in the early 80's I think. I loved it instantly and it didn't get enough media exposure and faded here quickly. It's such a pity that he never got the recognition he deserved or support from the stinking thieving media and record companies. He is still performing today and he's nearly 70! He still sounds as hot and I wish he would come to Australia because I'd buy a front row ticket. Donnie you rock!

He is a cool and humble guy - No jagoff here! His daughter was a few years younger than I, and attended Blackhawk H.S. in Beaver Falls, PA. Last time I saw him, he was pumping gas into a Dodge Omni at the the Exxon station in Chippewa... "Howya dooin Dawnee"... "Just fine man". God, life goes by too fast (I'm 53).
