In this no build, no tools, no expertise needed van tour, I'm showing you a minimal but functional (and beautiful) car camping setup that sleeps 2 people comfortably and easily. My only financial investment in this setup was a new 6" tri-fold mattress that allows us to utilize both a day/lounge mode, and a night/sleep mode. I'm pretty pleased with what I consider a versatile and cozy camper with minimal effort involved! I'm curious to know what you think... would this work for you (with or without a plus one)?? Thanks! It's a mifi, and I have a different provider (verizon) for its wifi service, since my phone is ATT. I find that way I have better chances of getting service with one if the other doesn't have strong enough signal. You pay for the device and activate it, and then you can purchase a certain amount of 5G per month
Oops, thank you for letting me know, I mist have missed it! I'll update it now, but it's this one, and then there are several colors to choose from amzn.to/3zNfwd3
When we are car camping, it just depends, but so far the two of us have only camped at state park campgrounds when I'm not solo, so we just use the bathhouse there to shower. When I'm solo I try to shower at least every 2-3 days when I don't have a ready shower available, but use Scrubbz rinseless shower wipes for in between!
I use campground showers typically, or Scrubbz rinseless washcloths (like they use for people that are on bed rest and/or cannot take traditional showers) for in between times. I also like truck stop showers (though pricy!) as a backup option, or even places like community/public pools will typically offer affordable showers!
Why do people feel the need to be nasty? If you don’t like something, move on. Don’t spread your negativity to someone who is trying her best to bring interesting content to others. You just show your level of ignorance by being nasty.
I’m referring to the troll who said Tara was dirty and cluttered. That made me angry. I’m sure you don’t need me to stick up for you, but I’m getting really tired of people hiding behind their keyboard and saying things that are hurtful. It is so unnecessary.
It will never make sense to me either, why people can be like that. I appreciate your support! Thankfully the majority of the people commenting *and this community) are all awesome, but those rare bullies can definitely put a damper on the day!
Thanks for your feedback. For two grown people I thought it was pretty minimal to meet all our needs when camping and traveling. But we all have different ideas of what minimal is. To me, adding a little decor to make a space feel cozy is worth some non essentials, when the goal is create a warm & inviting space 🤷♀️ To each their own. Thanks for watching!

Great set-up! What is the name of the WiFi signal booster and how does it work?
Thanks! It's a mifi, and I have a different provider (verizon) for its wifi service, since my phone is ATT. I find that way I have better chances of getting service with one if the other doesn't have strong enough signal. You pay for the device and activate it, and then you can purchase a certain amount of 5G per month
@@HeathersHikesAndAdVANturesThanks for your quick reply! I just discovered your channel. You have great content!❤
Flame like candle? Where did you get that??? Very nice
Thanks! I found it on Amazon - here is the link for it

When you ordered the trifold bed did you choose queen or twin ?
I actually got the "full" if it was just me I think I would have gone single for sure, but I wanted to make sure my daughter would be comfy too!
Where did you get the mushroom lamp
I found it on clearance at a Marshall's and couldn't resist it!
How come you didn't list the fridge?
Oops, thank you for letting me know, I mist have missed it! I'll update it now, but it's this one, and then there are several colors to choose from

How often do you 2 shower?
When we are car camping, it just depends, but so far the two of us have only camped at state park campgrounds when I'm not solo, so we just use the bathhouse there to shower. When I'm solo I try to shower at least every 2-3 days when I don't have a ready shower available, but use Scrubbz rinseless shower wipes for in between!
Shower?
It doesn't look minimalist to me. Especially with the fact that she doesn't live in it full-time. Just sayin!
Thanks for your feedback. For two grown people I thought it was pretty minimal to meet all our needs when camping and traveling. But we all have different ideas of what minimal is. To me, adding a little decor to make a space feel cozy is worth some non essentials, when the goal is create a warm & inviting space 🤷♀️
To each their own. Thanks for watching!
Agree....
Dirty and cluttered
