From the very first time I attended a service at Grace I recognized that this congregation looked at worship as an aesthetic event. What is that infernal noise?
Grace Cathedral is not in downtown San Francisco. It is atop Nob Hill and sits on property which once had two mansions, which were destroyed in the 1906 fire.
There is one and I’m in it! It’s called the Grace Cathedral Choir of Men and Boys. The boys are selected from the school which is attached to Grace. We sing Thursday Evensongs every week, Sunday Eucharist every week, and some Christmas and Easter concerts.
