- Luxury SUVs don't have to be expensive, even if Rolls Royce make you think they do. There are plenty of cheap to buy luxury SUVs out there, you don't have to buy a Cullinan!
So yes they're not as luxurious as some other cars, they don't have champagne fridges etc, but they're still pretty sick considering they cost less than a 10th of the equivalent rolls.

It was either buy a house or buy a car, so I brought my house, 2yrs ago...anyways, im ready to get a car (wanted to get it before my 26th but lockdown). I am looking for a SUV. People sleep on Volvos as a luxury brand because they rarely change their designs (which I think are gorgeous, so why change that every 3 years?)
They ultra-reliable in their segment compared to the competition.

Jb can you do a video on range rover vogue and sports pro and cons engines and reliability, theres so many engine changes in the land rover from ford, bmw, jaguar and the handover to TATA company. How and which ones are most reliable????

2.0 tdi or tsi are decent mate
For 19yrs old, I’d say the 1.4tsi. Be weary of the TDI’s. They love to throw a glow plug light

I'm still not an SUV fan. The high center of gravity vexes me on the twisted roads, and fueling them is downright painful. I've driven them off road, and enjoy the clearance, and they've gotten me through snow, but I'm just more apt to he driving on roads, in good weather. I'm glad SUVs have fans, though. All motoring enthusiasts are fun people, IMO. To each their own.

Two years later and the prices for these cars have all went up! 😳 the Lexus in 2023. 50k miles 2017 is 22k
Driven the F Pace for a week and was so pleased with it. The 2.0 D engine was so much better than I was expecting. Great Size and very drivable, felt like you were in something special. New Q5 is very nice but a bit small but have it S line trim as SE is just not luxurious enough for the money. Make sure you can get a good warranty for all these cars as it's so worth it in the end if you have problems which you will have. Cheers just my opinion

Ofc the disco sport looks so much better than the freelander, but coming from a jlr tech, the freelander is so much more reliable than the disco sport. Funny how when jlr started making their own engines, there were more problems 😂

Genuinely I don't think Hyundai or Kia make a bad car at the moment. Had a Tucson as a hire car in Czechia a while back, along with a Merc C200d and we were all fighting to be in the Hyundai.
