- Luxury cars don't have to be expensive, even if Rolls Royce make you think they do. There are plenty of cheap to buy luxury cars out there, all you have to do is look around!
Of course, none of these cars come with a champagne fridge, or curtains, or any of that fancy stuff, but they still provide a level of luxury above and beyond the average car, for less than a new Ford Focus.

Gotta go with luxury if I had to daily drive it. Easier to make a car faster than mod it to make it more luxurious.

Great list and excellent video. For me, it would be the Aston every time as the continental GT is a footballers car and that puts me right off. As for the Range Rover, the S Class and the Maserati, reliability is a worry.

I noted someone said you speak a little fast, I find your pace just right, because your speech is very clear and precise.
For me LUXURY every day, all day long, over speed; speed fades after a couple of miles, luxury stays for hours, weeks, years.

I'd rather have luxury, I find in alot of places that a luxury car would fit in, a supercar wouldn't. A funeral perhaps, the Bentley or a RR would go fantastic, but if you pulled up in something loud it'd look a bit obnoxious

Haha before I got into properly researching Maserati I had no idea it was a trident either!
I had an S class. Lovely drive, very smooth and the seats were the most comfortable I have ever sat on. Unfortunately the car was full of problems. All the mercs I have owned were full of problems. Most of the BMW cars I've owned have been way more reliable.
I do recall passing the GranTurismo at the Fiarano test track in 2006. It was a rainy and foggy day at the time, and the GT prototype was covered with black tape to hide its design elements prior to its Geneva Car show debut in 2007. At the time, I was working for a partner to Ferrari-Scuderia and had spent the week in an executive development course at IMD in Lausanne. Wednesday was a surprise and we had only been told the day before to be ready in Lausanne at 05h00 with our passports for a trip. It was to be a day trip, which started out with a flight (4 private jets in a squadron) from GVA, CH to Bologna, IT, followed by a bus trip to Ferrari HQ for a leadership development day with the F1 team (lead at the time by Jean Todt). I was a passenger in an Enzo when we passed that GT prototype. Pretty cool stuff.
That's the biggest flex of a story of all time haha, sounds absolutely incredible!
@@CarsWithJB It was memorable, for sure. I may have omitted the fact that I was scared to death in that Enzo. The test driver didn't let up in that rain...or at least it felt like that to me.
You bang on about the noise of the Maserati, The 4.3 L Aston Vantage has a sound far superior to that Maserati! The Aston is the best car on this list and should be number one because it is ultimately timeless both inside and out, it will stand the test of time far greater than any other car on this list!
The Aston is definitely my personal favourite on the list, but try to reduce bias as best I can! And you are correct - they do sound unreal

My old man had a Continental GT, ECU replaced under warranty at a cost of £18k and Air suspension replaced at a similar cost, the dealer had a skip full of failed air suspension parts from Continentals

You should’ve added the W220 S600, cause those things have like 600bhp and 1000nm of torque, and they’re super comfy. You can get them for like £6k as well

I’ll stick with my old diesel mk4 Mondeo only needed a cam belt change and 2 sets of tyres in the last 5 yrs I’ve owned it, yearly oil change when it gets mot’d perfect reliability and comfort 😉👌

Definitely performance. Driving experience is far more important that plush interiors and mahogany inserts. If you and your car are going to spend a lot of time together, you'd better make sure it's not a boring car.

@@CarsWithJB Fair enough. I'd recommend a steering wheel upgrade to the leather one, I did the same. I believe the steering wheels for the 9n3 also fit plus some others

Aston Martin (vantage) is a Scottish car and invention designed by Ian Callum who did other cars as well.
Mate of mine bought a cheap Bentley Continental and the fuel bill was ASTRONOMICAL! Went around Europe and I think he paid £2k in fuel alone. Pretty sure the engine was running rich but still 2k! Nearly £1 a mile in fuel. For comparison I think my fuel bill was around £580 and I kept flooring it where I could 😀
In terms of luxury for now that Merc is defo top IMO. Newest car here and as it's an S Class will have the latest in technology in there (minus the fridge as they discontinued that 😪).
