When did you ever see a conservative attack someone due to wearing an Obama hat, shout at someone in a restaurant, try to get someone fired for wrongthink or threaten Maher's advertisers with a boycott due to what he said? I'll tell you when...NEVER. This idea that telling a woman she can't kill a baby WITH A HEARTBEAT is identical to being a leftist snowflake is pure gaslighting, and don't you dare let these jerkoffs off the hook by falling for it.

There are just a couple of tiny tubes with mom's blood going through them. Interesting thought, when Dr.s contemplate whether a comatose, unresponsive person is alive or not, they look for brain activity. Strange as it seems, a person can "live" without a heart for some time. Hell, you can even switch out a heart. However there is NO amount of time a person without a brain is considered to be alive. In hostage situations, when the sniper wants to instantly kill the criminal, they shoot him in the BRAIN to instantly end life. Why then is HEART activity the mark of fetal "life"? Shouldn't it be BRAIN activity?

There's a plethora of examples, much like could be said for the other side. The problem is continuing to think it's "all or none." There are people that suck on all sides and in between, which is simply reality. To think one side (doesn't even have to be political, could be male vs female for example) is completely exempt in any situation is frankly delusional. I say this only to help prevent dichotomous thinking by you or anyone reading this, as that type of thinking will never lead to a resolution, but will perpetuate the problem.

@ItsStillRealToMe DamnIt You can always find a way to justify something. But until we can step out of our own ideological hazmat suit and expose ourselves to the ideas espoused by those who dare to be different than ourselves, we will not understand the difference in political ideology isnt a good vs evil battle to be won, but merely a difference in psychological makeup, personality and temperament. People exposed to different events in life and in childhood which have shaped their views and opinions in alternate ways. Left and right is not good and bad, regardless of how you slice it. left and right are two personalities needed to govern the state together. they keep each other in check. when one begins to rule with full spectrum dominance, the balance needed to maintain the state is thrown off and it spirals downward. So for all of the folks who truly believe that their party would rule better if given full control, know that no one side possesses the competency to do it alone. This is the beauty of reality. It requires polar opposites to shut the hell up and govern together with logic and reason. Accepting that the other side knows something that they dont know. This is humility and empathy driven. Two things this country seems to be lacking due to overinflated egos on both sides.

I would just disagree with the teacher thing. It may sound like the same, but an old tweet or a costume is not literal child abuse. Some of the things recorded by kids are hardcore child abuse. It can lead to mental problems later on. If we consider how left wing the unions and schools are, these videos will only have consequences for the teacher if their actions are truly horrible. A victim recording their abuser is not a bad thing.
When it comes to college, I think most of these videos need to censor the faces of the people. What we want is to expose the indoctrination, not the people regurgitating it.

@@MB-fy8kk You are right about the population growth in Texas and Florida unlike many states it just keeps rising. "People of color make up 95% of Texas' population growth...Non-Hispanic white Texans now make up just 39.8% of the state's population - down from 45% in 2010."
While in Florida once again the gains are all people of color, with the biggest percentage gain since 2000 being the Asians. I can't wait for Texas and Florida to be Blue. So glad folks are moving there.

Since Jon Stewart went off air, Bill is the only guy I understand. Both Jon and Bill were outspoken against the neo-illeberal fascism on the left, while also condemning fascists on the right.
No one else does it anymore. When we lose bill, there will not be a single mainstream show that calls out fascists no matter what side.
It makes me sad that zoomers think bill is a biggot. If everyone just listened to him we would never lose another election and we could end our party devouring itself

    • @toddmcintosh2685

I don’t disagree, but I’d expand it further and suggest replacing ‘everyone listen to Bill’ to ‘everyone listen to both sides’ we would be a hell of a lot better off. But people like their echo chambers and social media propagates tribalism, and there is no financial/power incentive for people en masse to be educated and well informed. I bet Jon Stewart is smeared in the msm after his first show.

@April Campbell The reason you don't understand how people can support this in Texas is because this is not what is happening in Texas. The Uber driver part was pulled straight out of Rachel Maddows ass because Bills writers watch cable news and are just as prone to misinformation as Qtards. The bill bans people from knowingly providing an abortion‑inducing drug to a pregnant woman without satisfying the applicable informed consent requirements for abortions or after an ultrasound detects a heartbeat after 7 weeks. The uber driver would have to be told he was driving a woman to get an abortion illegally, as in "I need to be dropped off at the clinic to get my illegal abortion", a thing that has literally never happened.
