No intelligent person should agree with someone 100% of the time, so even when I don't like or agree with what he says, I respect him because he is not about following a "party line" of the Left or the Right and calls out the BS of both when he sees fit. No expert or authority knows more than Maher. Don't dare to appear to know more than him. His ire is clearly visible. No make believe Mr. Nice Guy. His 2 guests last week engaged in a bash the left session that Maher sat out for the most part. It was ridiculous. The only redeeming facet to me about Maher is he has maintained his opposition to Trump. I wonder if his ego would allow his studio audience to not be allowed to interfere constantly with applause. It throws the rhythm of the show off frequently and the guests have to attempt to speak over the clapping. It is just unnecessary. Maybe he will get it as guests don't want to appear. But, Maher is so full of himself and his wealth. I used to love his show, but it is no longer must see tv for me.

"Liars" are not only found in the right wing. The "progressives" claim to be "saving democracy" by shutting down speech they don't like, legislating from the bench, and regulating through government agencies rather than Congress.

Of course I'm sure you have no problem with left wing liars that come on his show and how he doesn't push back on them either. At least he's allowing both sides to be heard.

@@larrysutton925The right-wing lies way more than the left. They act on bad faith and do it deliberately because it’s a money-making grift for them.
