Rob out here actually doing what zero other people are doing. He's SHOWING you what email copy should (and shouldn't) look like. There's too many TH-camrs and content creators that just "tell" you, "You can do it. You can be a copywriter! Oh you want to know _how_ ? Buy my course to see an example."
Rob is legitimately doing God's work. Thank you, sir.

And here I am thinking I would suck at copy yet I saw pretty bad ones.
This video got me laughing at some of the copy sent. For someone who hasn't started her copy-learning journey yet, I knew the bad ones when I paused to read them.
It goes to say that every lousy copy had not considered any potential client at all, didn't want to bother about giving out information and they were all about the money they would be paid after "writing copy."
I've learnt a lot from this video and Amanda is such a wise woman. I think I jotted down almost everything she had to say about each copy. She had really good pointers.
Thank you for this video, it was worth it and I hope you do more like this.

I enjoyed the commentary. It's fun, honest, critical, and fair for sure. I am working up the guts to offer writing services for others who work in my industry. I have hired dozens of writers to work for me when I wanted to post a little more than I had time to. The results, in general, are not good. Much of what I paid for is so poor that I can't even use it. I am willing to take something that's 80% useful if it's inexpensive. The expectation is that I am going to have to edit something I pay so little for. I'm ok with that. The problem is that many of the results I paid for are UNFIXABLE.
So, when I write for others I expect to be able to deliver respectable work that is not going to embarrass the client. I am not going to charge much at all when I get started. After I prove my self and gain some positive reviews I'd like to be able to charge enough to eek out a decent payday.
In the mean time I'll be watching you on YT. Again, thanks for taking the time to put this together.

I recently began researching copywrighting as a supplemental income strategy and have been looking for real world examples of what business owners expect when they hire a person from Fiverr. Did you send a link to this for the writers to learn where they went wrong? One thing I took away from this is that research is the most important part of writing an email and those surveys are definitely a good idea, as is making sure you take the time to actually read the answers.
