Good luck, I understand. Some creatives including me suck at marketing (it’s a skill in itself)and while hugely talented, they end up running around marketing and not doing what they love. Talking to my younger self. I love how Mike is so articulate and shares his mistakes, and successes. I call it developing a creative process, thankfully an art teacher taught me this important lesson, develop your unique process. I know what you mean… and the problem isn’t just not being from the US, but not being from a country where English is the native language. Even though I have a BA and MA in English language and literature, and experience as a copywriter, it seems to turn people off, thinking that I am not good enough… when the reality is, most native speakers have no knowledge of their own language. It’s really frustrating!

Yup, reached the same point, staring at a job and life that sucked and needed to have faith to move into a truly creative art based life. I’m MA qualified now and reached where I want to be, poor but happy. No regrets. So trying to reconfigure things now so can live anywhere in the world working remotely. Living the Dream! Right?

Hmm this is a tough one, you could try changing the gig title/description but this may be a case where horror stories just doesn't have that much demand from buyers on fiverr.

However, I have a concern: why would someone ask a 15-year-old to write a marketing email for only $5? When creating a Gig, should I simply include my own information or create a fake account?
