I've been thinking this same thing! How bad would feel if one of my family or friends was left without life insurance and cant make it on thier own!! That's wat motivates me!
i did this since i recently applied to state farm and i just got a call from one of the agents giving me my schedule for my paid work interview this upcoming week and i only managhed to get 10 people down which i went on my sc to get those people and some of my family members too but damn theres no way in hell ik 200 people rn but i will for sure soon
I swear. I have been sending my (i like to call it) -- Virtual business card to everyone i could think of. on all of my social media apps ALL DAY LONG! I posted it on all of my social media. I am trying to recruit as many prospects as i can to build my clientele.. I came on here and searched "how to be an amazing insurance agent.. this is the second video i watched. I know i am moving in the proper direction.
Great video but you didn’t get into detail about how they answered the phone, or what you said the first phone call. I know nothing about being an insurance agent but I am very interested.
I'm not monetizing the people in my life....easiest way to destroy friendships? HB the company I work for gets the leads through all the advertisement they do....they ahve quotes online for a reason send me those people. I hate when people tell you to capitalize on your friends and family for money.
If you're viewing any of your clients, whether family or not, as just a way to a quick paycheck then you will have problems in this business. Most successful life insurance agents I know are doing it to truly help put people in a better situation than they were in before. I get not wanting to capitalize on the people you are close to, but not at least checking to see if you can help them out and put them in a better situation seems silly to me. 🤷♂️ Plus, even if they don't buy from you it's a good way to practice your appointment process on someone who will give you honest feedback.

Great advice! I’m very interested in becoming an insurance agent. What is the very first step as far as getting licensed? Do I have to apply to an insurance company for that has to set me up with the exam or can I do it myself?
Check out license coach my guy. Been on there for 6-7 months. Still not through it. Can make high six figures ya first year if learned thoroughly enough. Or like i did just search the indeed app/site , zip recruiter, any job app/site for licensed life insurance agent, annuities agent. Some of them offer training, licensure & some even paid training. Mine is not paid training, but i have a one on 1 mentor. Femtor technically, because she is awesome. Femtor is a female mentor.
I’m currently going through examfx through my company but base rates aren’t that bad for buying the course yourself they have everything from videos to tutors and the down right textbook version of the class
I still watch your videos and just ran away from the insurance business once for a crappy job. But I found an insurance company that I believe will be a good fit for and there going to help me get licensed
I received my license in January 2021 but my training became to personal 🙃 Now, I don't know where to go to get a good job. I don't want to let go of my day job.

@@CodyAskins that's a good point, I guess it might just not be for me. The thought of cold calling or prospecting scares me as an introvert.
