This truly is the best time, within the first 3-5 years. 3 years is enough to establish that this game is not a fad. On the other hand, if FaB scales in a similar trajectory to MTG’s early days, then you’ll regret not securing these items early.

Do you still grade through BGS the majority of your items? I understand throwing the little guy a bone, but I'm always interested in seeing the do, not the say. Most PCG cards in my experience seem to be overgrades by 0.5 to at worse 1.0 in my sample batching experience comparing PCG against BGS. Matt Rogers also further thanks you for advising. Were you hired as a consultant or do anything in the capacity that a consultant would do for a company for PCG in an unofficial role? I'm asking for transparency. Thank you!
1. I send the majority of my WTR-A through MON-1st to BGS; the premiums make sense. The majority of everything else goes to PCG, but I am thinking to lean towards submitting to the PCG Headquarters in the future. 2. 0.5 here and there I’d agree with. I’d say the 1.0’s are nearly all coming out of the US licensee (CardShopLive/CFB), and am wondering if that’s your experience. 3. I volunteered for a solid year, and am at their service whenever they need me. I obviously don’t need anyone’s money, but would rather bring the biggest benefit to the world of Flesh and Blood 💚💙💜. They/I know *exactly* where the problem region is, and it’s the same place that dumped FaB boxes for every release, and the same place that graded 200+ of my cards in error. That said, there’s some work to be done!
@@FaBledHunters Thanks for the transparency, this means more than you can imagine in my book. As a US individual, is there a way we can request certain branches to grade our cards? You are correct that it was the US branch that return the overgrades. Id rather not post something knowing it was graded incorrectly because there is a line of disengenuous ethics there. Id be willing to give other branches, not the US, a shot because PCG main arm is for FAB.
Only thinking about the pain probably XD. At least we know they aren’t fudging good grades for the WC. It is possible that they grade more harshly as a new company though, but hopefully they truly are consistent.
I will say that Rob QC’ed the 3 Tunics and Emperor personally like he promised. Those grades are beyond question from me after my checks. However, I had some concerns with the remainder of the grades and have brought it up with PCG-US. The great part about PCG is that they’ve committed to getting it done right, and if there are serious discrepancies, they take accountability, unlike … *ahem* some other organizations offering grading services.
@@FaBledHunters The thing that mainly concerned and cautioned me from using PCG was the affiliation with Cardshoplive/CFB or whatever the fuck is going on with that company. I try to stay away from them, they've hurt too many businesses via greed. I really trust what you say in the FaB world, so this does impact my opinion on PCG, but I don't think I'll use them until the affiliation with Cardshoplive/CFB is addressed. And furthermore, seems like there are still grading inaccuracies. If they're that inaccurate for you, Saint, can you imagine how careless they'd be for some random like me? Lol.
@@FaBledHunters Good to hear! I I hope we can see a company consistent enough that you can't expect to resubmit cards and get different grades. We know that the same grades from other companies can be valued differently like a bgs 9.5 vs psa 10, so if they're consistent, the market will determine what each grade is worth, even if the numbers don't match 1-1 to other companies.
