Explain this thanoscopter to me. I am a novice when it comes to comics. I'm not sure if this is a legitimate statement or a funny inside joke type of deal.

Basically, MCU's Thanos is a severely nerfed version of comic Thanos and MCU Thanos is already OP. Comic Thanos is just ridiculous.
Damn near everyone in the MCU is far less powerful than their comic counterparts.
@@alearnedman they kind of have to be for the sake of the movies. Even cartoons nerf comic characters all the time for the same reason.
If MCU wasn’t nerfed, then Thor would be the main character.

@@rager0111 Very much nerfed versions of themselves but Thanos and Thor are def the main characters of Infinity War and leads to their eventual collision. I'd say that Thanos is the protagonist and Thor is the antagonist of IW.

The Silver Surfer comics in the 80's were the best! 30+ issues of Thanos playing with the Surfer ending with the beginning of the Infinity Stone saga. Absolute unending Awesome.

Hey Rob, ever thought about making Beyond Omega lvl videos for objects like the casket of ancient winters, or the infinity gauntlet?
You forgot Thanos fighting a PHOENIX powered Thane and beating him while destroying a planet. This video is far too short.
He got a power up from the God Quarry I believe.
@@bakedgoods7116 no he did not. He was restored to full power. Even comics explained said the same thing in his video about the fight. He was back to how he ORIGINALLY was...his correct power levels.

Comic Thanos is sooo OP.
One thing I didn't like about Thanos in the MCU was he only had superhuman durability and strength when in the comics he has a bunch of abilities. I get they needed to tone him down but I wish they could have kept a few more powers to show he didn't need the gauntlet to fight all the heroes in Endgame
I completely understand now why this version of Thanos just wouldn't have worked in the MCU. He literally got sucked into a black hole and laughed at the heroes for thinking it'd kill him.
That regeneration feat from The Thanos Imperative is exactly accurate to be used to describe his healing factor. While he does have a formidable natural healing factor, when Thanos reconstitutes himself after being atomized by the guardians, it’s a total surprise to him. That’s when we learn that the reason he was able to return to life is because his one true love has spurned him. Mistress Death permanently deprived Thanos of being able to feel her embrace, meaning he is literally beyond death, and unkillable. This of course, breaks the Mad Titan’s heart.
I'd like to suggest doing a segment on "Marvel's Most Powerful Artefacts". You could kick things off with the Infinity Gauntlet! Or do each stone separately ending in a finale of the infinity gauntlet and then explore many of the other items like the crimson gem of cytorak, the ultimate nullifier, etc... Thanks!
I'd love to see you cover Minion of Death's Head 2, I think this was the coolest designed character in comics yet many are probably not familiar with

As just a casual, I think he’s so associated with the Infinity Saga is cause that was considered a feat in it of itself and was suppose to be the prime example as to why Thanos is to be feared.
If you ever make that Infinity Gauntlet video, remember that the Reality Gem can open and close portals to and from its home universe, as shown in the original Infinity Gauntlet story when Thanos accidentally ripped open a portal into the Negative Zone. Also, the Gems ARE able to affect those from other universes (as proven by turning Galactus into stone), so long as they are within the Gauntlet’s home universe.
Thanos is the prime example of characters getting nerfed in the MCU.
Almost everyone was in the MCU but if you threw comic thanos in there, pretty much everyone dies if you left them at their MCU levels.
How can we do Beyond Omega Level for Thanos and not mention the most prominent weapon in his arsenal: the Thanos Copter.

Against the cosmic abstract beings he would of course need tools or aid, but the Surfer is just so strong and with a flexible skill-set: IMO for base-Thanos to no-prep defeat him, is his most telling feat.
Actually Thanos in his base power level has stalemated Odin,Thor with the power gem (and easily beat Thor many times),hurt a slightly weaken Inbetweener,easily beat Beta Ray Bill,Gladiator and stomped the Silver Surfer many times.
And he picked out the artefact from that meteor that was meant to be impossible, literally designed to be impossible to get

Thanos is a beast, please don’t let the MCU version of his character fool you kiddos. Thanos is a team buster and that’s without the infinity gauntlet or anything else. He beat the bricks 🧱 off of the Silver Surfer ( my favorite character ) and Surfer could destroy The Justice League, The Avengers, The X-Men and the Fantastic Four by himself.
A surfer winning all of this is exaggerated. So I would say that Thanos is beyond the Darkside, something that is not true 😂

Jim Starlin has single-handedly made Thanos stronger and smarter than god. _Than god._ I think I wrote a character like that in middle school...
Rob said in the video that he was able to send galactus flying but didn't actually hurt him. Trust me... he's powerful but there are still numerous amount of characters who can mop him. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. These series are always made to really hammer in all of their strongest feats. But he never talks about their weaknesses because that'll defeat the purpose.

wait there never was a vid about the big bad purple man. he is in so many things that you could probably make this video by cutting out parts of your other videos and put them in the right order. you could probably even make multiple of those all with different clips.

5:40 - 5:57 that’s what I’ve always said about how ppl judge/think of Thanos Whig is his infinity gauntlet accomplishments n power but he’s Already a power house with even shields that are extremely durable…the movies didn’t showcase his telepathy, teleportation, energy manipulation n other powers as they’re literally would be nothing in his way…but as a big fan of Thanos I hate when ppl just say without the gauntlet he’s weak when that’s such a false and disrespectful thing to say
