    I met Chris at The Maine State Championships! He had a sick uphill 40 footer for the only two on 15 at BSR loop all day! I scored the card as a volunteer!

    I will take all the tips I can get. I like the idea of paying attention to the wind and trying to land where you want either tailwind or headwind. I would also say pay attention to where the sun is. It can be very distracting to putt when the sun is right in your eyes.

    REALLY like THREE! tips here: At 5:14 to 5:54-More and shorter sessions. At 6:52 to 7:32- 'Practice with a purpose'. And at 9:52 to 10:42. Avoid the crosswind putt that messes with you and even lay up if you have to.

    I am currently working on my putting and this video couldn’t have come out at a better time. I practiced putting nonstop for 2hrs today. Now I know that shorter intervals are better for improving my putting than practicing putting for a long duration of time.

    Personally I like the Judge, Emac Judge, and Warden as putters for different situations mainly based on wind and distance...and I carry all three. The main point is they all feel good in my hand.

  • @cooketarlton1986
    @cooketarlton1986 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    If you sorta like the judge but it's not exactly what you are looking for I really recommend the link or the dagger. Similar shape but the link is deeper and the dagger is much deeper/rounder edge

    I recently discovered that I'm able to overshoot the basket on straddle jumps super easily. I'm working on dialing it back and I think the key is in the posture remaining the same, while your legs propel your body forward, adding speed to the disc. Does that make sense, Chris & TH-cam?

      Posture has to be one of the most important things for consistency/power on all throws

    The other advice I have been following is to spend most of your session making putts (i.e. practice at a distance where you can make 95-100% or your putts), then move out a few feet as you get comfortable and repeat. This adds a ton of confidence to your putting game that helps in the high pressure situations.

    I think I (push) putt with the nose down cause tail winds raise my disc and head winds drop them 🤷🏻‍♂️

    Should I buy a judge to throw?

    • @fuzziemunkey
      @fuzziemunkey 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Absolutely, I putt with judges but use them for approach and off the tee on short holes. I can put it out on a hyzer and it will flip up and glide straight and finish straight or a light fade at the end.
