  • I find this fugue, written by Bach, from Well Tempered Clavier book 2, rich and intense. The intertwined melodic lines in its voices create together interesting and, at moments, audacious harmonies. In the fugue, Bach uses techniques of inversion (vertical mirroring of the subject), augmentation (doubling rhythmic durations of the subject) and stretto (overlapping subsequent subject instances). The video shows the score that I prepared to annotate the fingering I use. It may be helpful to someone. I'm playing on Casio Privia PX 850 digital piano. I'm not a professional musician so please don't judge my performance too harshly.

Well done 👍 Good technique and separation of left (softer) and right hand 🙏
