Hey pal, was facing this problem from the morning and was thinking of calling a service guy but then I thought of searching a remedy for this on google where I got the youtube link of this video and boy the remedy shown in this video worked wonders and the problem got resolved immediately. Super! The tiny hole on the membrane was blocked so that when piston was retracted it did not let water through.
Thank you so very, very much !!!! This video WAS the one i was looking for ! I figure you just saved me $300 dollars because i was about to murder it and go buy a new one.Thank you. My machine is only about a year old. (cant find receipt for warranty) It just seemed to pass out. No lights, just the pump humming at the bottom; no water coming. well im not a repair man, till now. haha. Last week my well pump gave up ! Allowing tiniest of particles to go past the screen to the piston. Thanks for sharing your wisdom. Best regards, Ben Asheville, NC

Hay what kind of glue do you use to put back in the valve
need some advice replaced the water valve aswell as the water pressure chamber on a hotpoint WMUD942 Ultima and its still not taking any water in, any other advice you can give me?
I'm having a bit of trouble understanding him at 4:24 when he says something about taking out the water flow restrictor "this is not advisable on your cold water valve if..." Closed captions say "mines forthright" and I can't piece together what he is saying. Anyone figure that bit out? Everything else was fairly clear though and I'll definitely thumbs up the video. Props to the uploader.

if you turn the tap of, then take the pipe of the machine then put it in a bowl and turn tap on to test it.
the buzzing sound like the water valve asking for water but none there
I almost forgot...you have a similar model which is a front loader. Also, I did locate the manual online and checked out the "troubleshooting" section. Again, I covered all the bases on that note, and it's still not working.

Hi mate, i have a problem. I have a front loading zanussi fls-571c thats
running on a manual timer control. The problem is it spins, it rinses.
But it doesn't wash. After filling up water, the water stops and the
timer clicks but no washing starts and no voltage on the capacitor
either that starts the motor but voltage present during rinse and spin
about 400V plus. After the rinse or spin completes, the capacitor
voltage drops to zero instantly. Could that be a capacitor fault? Or
something else? Please help.
Hello, I have Indesit WILD86 Washing machine, its stooped after the first round washing on any program with 02 green flash and one red flashing light and too much noise,
After washing for 10 minutes and start pull out the water to start rinse or complete the cycle here the flashing light start and can not take water again to continue.
Hello, I couldn't find my washer at your website, but I'm hoping that you can help me. From a thrift store I bought a Samsung Powerfoam VRT model # wa5471abw xaa01 which is a top loader that looks like a front loader. The water won't go into the washer AT ALL. I checked the valves, the hoses (both regular) the screens at the inlets (cleaned out one of them), made sure the drain hose wasn't pushed too far down into the drain.
As far as I know I covered all the bases. When I turn it on, I can hear clicking, like it's trying to work, but it won't fill. Also...no error messages either.
I'm guessing it is either a relay switch or something to do with a pump (if it uses a pump) . Can you p l e a s e help me? When I purchased the washer they said I could return it if it didn't work, however, it wasn't until AFTER I purchased the washer, they informed me they could only give me store credit and wouldn't refund my money, Ugh! I am just not in the position to throw away $100 dollars, and don't need any frivolous things from a thrift store. They had no other washers to choose from, and I'm at the mercy of others to transport it 35 miles back to where I got it.

NOT SO. Now the water will not enter the machine when turned on? First I could not get rid of the water, now I can't get it in! HELP!
I recently cleaned out the filters, ran an empty cycle with a tablet and it worked fine. Now, after filling it with a load, it has become a teenager ! It won't work beyond a first light flashing, I have checked the drainage hole, and the pump WORKS........... and somehow, I managed to get the inlet, work for 15 seconds, then it resumed sulking again. Back to the first light flashing again. Am I a bad parent ?
Hi Great videos. Can I change replace the cold water valve with the hot water valve. The cold water valve is broken. I have put the cold water supply to the hot water valve... it worked but not the right progam settings.. so I change the valves around. now it does not work at all even if I change it back. Will really appreciate your help..
Hey, My cold water inlet valve is leaking steadily even when the washer isn't on. I'm not sure if the base( plastic housing) is cracked or what. It's just extremely rusted. So, Question is: Can I swap that valve with the fabric softener valve, since I don't use liquid fs? I haven't checked the continuity on the solenoids yet because I figure with the cold one steadily leaking, then I'm positive it's no good!! But, after watching this video and noticing what you said around 5:28 about swapping one for the other, I'm curious to see if it would work? Problem is though.........since the base itself seems to be the problem? not sure, will it make a difference when swapping them out? In other words, if the valve that goes to the fs is good and the cold water valve is bad, how is swapping the valves going to help since you don't actually swap the plastic base it sits in? Although, wouldn't it be bypassing the bad one then altogether?
I know this is in depth but I really dk any other way to word it to explain the issue at hand!!! I am in dire need of my washer! Oh, and btw, it is an Electrolux front load. I dk the model# becaue where the tag was has bern removed or has faded with time. I got the set from a friend and it's at least probably 5-6 years old or more?? It's the one that is like a royal blue in color and has the small display screen to the right with the speeds, temp, and options, etc. under that. The wash selector is the large knob on the left that had 10 settings. Also, to the right of that it has the start/pause button and another for cancel. Oh and underneath the display screen are buttons for favorite, ?, and control lock(?) or something like that! Not actually looking at it right now!!! So, yeah, any assistance would be awesome!!

once power socket to solenoid disconnected, I measured Voltage on the solenoid socket was 22Ovolts, but when connected back suddenly power voltage missed out and solenoid not operated. could be somebody explain me what is going on my Samsung Washing machine Wa90fa.

Good morning how-2, I have a whirlpool WWDC 6200. I overloaded it a few days ago, I managed to drain it via the filter at the bottom and managed to get the door open as well, the machine is now empty. However the,aching doesn't seem to want to start, what I mean is it goes to start but with 3 seconds it stops and shows the service light again. Can you give me any advice? Thanks in advance

Hello, thanks for all your info but I have a problem with my Kenmore #110.25852400. The circuit tripped midway then I put it back on,saw a few sparks by the water level- pressure switch, then the water won't fill up; it has no noise and hose isn't clogged. I looked at the water inlet and it isn't clogged either plus I tapped it a bit but no water/power. *The spin cycle and drain WORKS fine but no power with the water fill up. Could you help me? Do you think the water level switch went preventing it to power or inlet, vice versa or? Fuse or timer part but don't think so? Help please...? Thankyou
without having appliance in front of me this is to hard to help, but it could be the level switch but also check wiring going through the door as this is acommon shorting fault
I change today triple water valve but washer not filing with water does anybody have any clue what wrong its GE washer 2 years old.
I forgot to say, it is an IDL4 machine.
