    Great video, I agree and understand everything. I live in the country so my drive is 95% highway so my gas isn't horrendous like yours most of the time, but when I travel on vacations to big cities the difference is drastic. Good video sir💯.

      Thank you my man! Its fun to drive in the city but the traffic sucks. How is your MPG on the highway usually?

    What’s a fair price for a 2020 Srt jeep? Looking to get one as I want something fun but also for my family! Nice car man

    • @driversanonymousNYC
      @driversanonymousNYC  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey man! Thank you for your comment :)
      I wouldn’t be able to advise on a fair price for the car. I have seen some low mileage ones in the 60’s still and some others with higher mileage in the high 40’s and 50’s. If I was shopping for a used 2020 SRT, I would stick to a car between 10-20k miles and make sure that car had all the documentation of previous servicing. My car currently has 15,5k miles and I haven’t ran into any major issues so I feel from experience that this would be a sweet spot where you could get the car, know whats going on with it, and catch anything early to avoid any catastrophic repairs. Hope this helps.

    Your thoughts on the difference between the GC and Durango SRT (why did you choose the GC vs the Durango?)?

  • @antoniogrullon7404
    @antoniogrullon7404 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    yeah that a law, Big CC low mpg... but power is magic puff... for a better mpg step up compression and retune but it's spend a lot for low benefit...

    Would you think that would be a good purchase for a 2017 SRT jeep with only 35,000 miles on it

    • @driversanonymousNYC
      @driversanonymousNYC  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      35k miles for a 2017 is great, I think. You just really need to make sure you get all the service records of what was done and get a thorough PPI from an independent shop to address any issues that are present/will show up soon.

    Why not a trackhawk?

    • @driversanonymousNYC
      @driversanonymousNYC  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That’s a great question. After I sold my E39 M5, I wanted something similar with a NA V8 that was also comfortable and “low key”. So I landed on the SRT. In terms of forced induction, Im a little afraid of it. I think it comes from turbocharging my MK4 VW R32 a long time ago and it never ran right so I always am a little afraid of owning a forced induction car and it not running right. I did briefly own a Cadillac CTSV wagon that was a 6.2 supercharged and that thing was nuts and I didnt run into any issues however I only owned that car for about 9 months. I am really wanting to test drive a Trackhawk

    I want the bmw X5 m but it's double the price so I'm gonna get a jeep SRT preferably the green one and then after it's paid up I'll trade it in for x5 . Tired of driving tiny 370z every day , need a fast SUV daily so I can make the Z a full race car.

    • @driversanonymousNYC

    I love my 21’ Jeep SRT…but man I will say having had the 3.6 v6 base model and a 5.7 limitedx before the SRT…I can without a doubt say the comfort on the SRT is trash. You feel everything on the road. Never experienced that with my other GCs. Once these stock run flat tires burn out I’m going for more comfortable tires.

    • @driversanonymousNYC
      @driversanonymousNYC  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Interesting!!! I actually find the SRT very comfortable compared to all my other cars I’ve owned. Do you think the comfort comes down to the Run flats? Bc I also hate the run flats honestly. Im considering swapping them out even before they burn out lol. Would love to hear more on why you think the SRT isn’t comfortable

    • @briggsquantum
      @briggsquantum ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Pirelli run-flats are not good. I tossed a nearly new set of them ( bought my SRT used with them installed ) and installed a set of Continental Extreme Contact in the stock size. Huge difference in ride quality, much improved. Still a bit stiff, but far better.

    • @driversanonymousNYC
      @driversanonymousNYC  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great to know. The extreme contacts are on my radar

      "I used to have a 2014 Limited, which was a great family car. It was soft and good in all ways. However, I upgraded to a 2019 SRT, and it's like night and day. I love everything about it. The road drive is tight and a little harder, but it feels much safer to drive on winding mountain roads. I feel much safer driving it compared to most cars I've owned. My wife and daughter also love driving it, but they will only drive it in valet mode."There is a big difference in fuel cost, but I knew this from the start. If you're going to buy a car that costs more than double the regular Jeep GC, then there's no need to worry about the fuel cost. Compared to other Grand Cherokees, This was the best decision I've ever made, in buying a SUV with this package, and not being a two or four-door car
