I love my stock Jeep SRT exhaust. I would not change a single thing.
Yep, I get that feeling daily from my SRT.
Love it!
You have an aftermarket exhaust setup. Which did you go with?
I did a few exhaust mods: kooks header, kooks midpipe, to a borla s cat back
Sounds amazing!
Thank you!!!
Great ride! I have a 2016 Grand Cherokee SRT brilliant black, completely stock with oil catch can and absolutely love it 87k miles now . Only issue was harmonic balancer fail at 79k , my mph city 10.5 average live in Florida east coast. I change oil every 3500 miles and runs like new!
That’s awesome, man, I’m glad you’re still loving yours! It makes me feel good to know that these are still running strong after 87k miles. Hopefully mine is as reliable.
Ur job hiring ?
Lol no sir
14:04 Bro I 100% agree the whole automotive industry is going for these regulations, Eventually we gonna have elec vehicles. Really enjoyed watching the video thank you
So glad you enjoyed the video and thank you for commenting! Yea, I really do hope that the electric push isn’t fully sweeping bc it would be a shame to lose access to cars like these, not just SRTs but any NA type car. They are so much fun. I know I will most likely never own an electric lol
@@driversanonymousNYC same here bro xD
Holdens & Hemi’s is what I Drive im in ❤️ with my new Jeep Ozzie & American Muscle 💪
Loved this video. Im trying to get one due to the NA V8😌. NYC Stand Up. Brooklyn. I see sum for around 44k with around 33k miles😊.
Thank you so much man for the kind words and I am so happy you enjoyed the video. NA V8 (for me) is probably the best driving experience you can get. Sure the car doesn’t do 3.5s 0-60 but the sounds, the feel, the rawness, and the comfort of this car do it for me. $44k spent here isn’t bad considering every other high performance SUV is probably around $75-100k. Happy to have you here and maybe I will see you cruising around one day 😎
I definitely understand when you say you need this drive. Living in nyc is wild, I’m there too
Love this and Im glad this resonates with you. Every year that passes I am closer and closer to leaving lol
What about theft? How do you deal with that?
what’s the lowest miles you would get? i’m tryna get one but here in ga the average one for less then 40k has about 80-90k miles and up unless im tryna go over 40k to get one with about 60k but not sure cause i just got a truck about 2 months ago but really do wanna say fuck it and just trade for one
Thanks for your comment man. Thats a difficult question to answer and I think it always boils down to how well the previous owner(s) maintained the car. For example there can be a 40k mile car that was beaten on and not maintained properly and then there can be an 80k mile where the owner was meticulous and kept every receipt, did each service on time, and even did preventative maintenance. For me, buying a used car always depends on that. I sold my 150k mile BMW M5 absolutely mint and up to date and the car is still running perfectly bc of how much maintenance I put into it. So, it just really all depends. The best thing you can do is evaluate the condition of the car through a PPI, but most importantly make sure the owner was careful and cared about the car. Hope this helps
@ preciate the reply but yeah you right it’s just hard to find a good one but most def gonna have to do a ppi
Exhaust set up?
Yepp!!
@@driversanonymousNYC whats the set up? lol
Lol my bad. Kooks header. Kooks midpipe. Borla S cat back
Yikes cities are disgusting lol
Yes they are lol. Where do you live?
Use the paddle shifters gives it waaay more torc 👌🏽 lol
Lol I believe it
Nice,is that on Sport or Track
Sport mode
Bro, your plates are Florida. I thought you said you live in New York City?
FL insurance is cheaper 😆
Bruh, I cut thru traffic faster and heavier than that in my Volvo everyday otw to work everymornig. Gald ur having fun tho
😂😂😂
We’re real car guys man… we don’t “cut up” through traffic. What you just witnessed was a ‘PULL’. I know… very weird right? Not everybody is a loser that puts other lives in danger and cuts up for no reason. Especially in a Volvo on your way to your 9-5💀💀
Lemme guess. Your dream car is a hellcat and you call the trackhawk a jeep truck 🤣
Heard of durango srt
Of course. They are also very cool
116 that’s it?
😝
Would you get a trackhawk?
If I lived in a place where I could fully enjoy it, I totally would
@ right on man I’m thinking about getting a srt cherokee 2021
Its a super fun car man. Def test drive one
Awesome sounding daily driver!
That is correct!!!
Had an 2010 str8 and 2012 srt jeep. Now have a 2008 srt8 jeep. I like the 08 better.
Interesting! Those are really cool cars. Why do you like the wk1 better?
@driversanonymousNYC I like the look and the low tec vs the 2012 look and new tec with the engine. Just preference really. Got a 01 is300, 06 c55 amg also, fun stable of cars.
Gotcha. That makes sense. Thats why I appreciated my 2003 M5 so much as well. Such a simple and awesome car. Thats an awesome stable you have. Really cool assortment of cars and attitudes. Happy to have you here! Hope you stay around for some more content
Open road?
Its the best I can do around here lol
@@driversanonymousNYC fair enough
15 minutes video is too long to explain the issue ,,, sorry my friend
Makes sense and I appreciate your feedback! It will help me improve
No and you didn't use your signal when moving left
stock ?
Not stock
How much money u put down is fire boss
Thank you bro! I did lots of exhaust mods and some other mods :)
Nice ❤❤❤
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
That thing is junk. it still sounds stock. And it's still in turtle 🐢 mode. Pentastar v6 is faster than that thing. Just because you have a v8 doesn't mean you're fast. 😂😂
Trust me if going fast was my sole purpose I would have gotten a Trackhawk or a Cayenne Turbo 👌🏼
Any JEEP going faster than 67mph might spontaneously combust.
Lol good one
So beefy
Beeeeeefy
Hand placement is choice
💪🏽
Sounds cool but is still Slow af 😅
Lol I guess thats up to your perception of what slow is
Nice asf
Ty! I agree
Exactly
By George, Imma stroke it!
Im thinking the same :)
Gotta love an NA V8!!
Absolutely! So raw and so much fun
What’s a fair price for a 2020 Srt jeep? Looking to get one as I want something fun but also for my family! Nice car man
Hey man! Thank you for your comment :) I wouldn’t be able to advise on a fair price for the car. I have seen some low mileage ones in the 60’s still and some others with higher mileage in the high 40’s and 50’s. If I was shopping for a used 2020 SRT, I would stick to a car between 10-20k miles and make sure that car had all the documentation of previous servicing. My car currently has 15,5k miles and I haven’t ran into any major issues so I feel from experience that this would be a sweet spot where you could get the car, know whats going on with it, and catch anything early to avoid any catastrophic repairs. Hope this helps.
Why not a trackhawk?
That’s a great question. After I sold my E39 M5, I wanted something similar with a NA V8 that was also comfortable and “low key”. So I landed on the SRT. In terms of forced induction, Im a little afraid of it. I think it comes from turbocharging my MK4 VW R32 a long time ago and it never ran right so I always am a little afraid of owning a forced induction car and it not running right. I did briefly own a Cadillac CTSV wagon that was a 6.2 supercharged and that thing was nuts and I didnt run into any issues however I only owned that car for about 9 months. I am really wanting to test drive a Trackhawk
I own a Camaro, my ex had a intense Charger. I brought a X5 M. Know not same car. X3 M doesnt have the same low end but is even faster then what I have. I went BM3 Stage II and DP’s etc. M cars are different. Enjoy what ever you guys drive🫡✊🏽
Thank you!!
You need to drive your Jeep SRT in Track Mode to get a good comparison to any BMW M Competition vehicle. They are technically set up in default in Track Mode. When I’m in Track Mode, my Jeep SRT has almost no body role. The active suspension stiffens, it hooks, grips, 70% of the power goes to the rear wheels and sprints through corners. I took my car to a race track and had tuition from a racing driver. He helped me realise the track capability of this vehicle. I’m no professional driver, but now I understand the meaning of the letter R in the initials SRT!
I love Track Mode, just its terrible to drive around NYC, its nonstop bumps and bouncing around. However, next time I hit some smooth mountain roads Ill take your advice and drive just in Track mode 👍🏽
@@driversanonymousNYC Awesome. It would be great if you were able to film your track mode mountain road experience. With the scenic views I suspect you’ll have, that would be incredible. 👍
Thats a great idea! I will certainly do that
@@Louis-SRT6.4L100% agree, Trackmode just transforms this thing differently from Street mode when it comes to driveability. I take mine to Tail of the Dragon on plenty of occasions and it does great.
@@jggcsrt 100% agree with you. An amazing vehicle
I took my 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT to a BMW dealership and test drove a M5 Competition with the possibility of exchanging. After driving it, I couldn’t see any benefits of saying goodbye to my naturally aspirated 6.4L HEMI Jeep STT. Driving in the UK, in a vehicle that always gets people looking, stopping to talk about it, beeping you with thumbs up….. and it sounds and drives amazing. The car has split personalities due to the variable valve cam phasing technology and that fast changing ZF gearbox which really comes alive in track mode. I’ve had mine 3 years now with no major issues. Carbon fibre trim being the only issue. I would highly recommend this vehicle as it’s the sweet spot of all car options out there (purchase price, total cost of ownership, performance, handling, reliability, good looking, iconic reputation, comfort, load carrying capacity, V8 sound!) I’ve got to say, every time I drive this car, it’s a smile on my face event. 😀
I agree with you on everything and This is so interesting to read. In my head the X5/6M Comp’s “would be” the proper evolution from the SRT, but I do agree in that it would be nearly impossible to replicate the overall feel of the NA V8. All of these upper tier performance SUV’s are forced induction and honestly Ive never been a huge fan of that. I did, however, drive a Porsche Cayenne through Norway and that car was really very nice, and Im curious what the new Macan GTS could do.
Star Dodge or Bayside Dodge.. lolol.
Neither lol
hwo mamy hp
Close to 500hp
Hi! I have an SRT 2020, and it does the same when it is raining. Dealer cannot find issue. Happens 4 times. Same readings. Once it dries, codes erase.
Did you finally fix the issue?
Yes! Check your battery terminals. They may be loose. That was my fix
Weak
Thanks! :)
Such a nice looking car. IMO the perfect spec too. Billet looks incredible.
Thank you! I love the Billet as well! It cleans up so nicely
Long time no hear. Welcome back.
What’s the exact color of that car? Love it
Its called Billet Silver. Its an awesome color
Great in-depth review. Thanks for sharing!
So glad you enjoyed it!
