    This channel is very underrated. When the TH-cam algorithm should do its job properly, It's busy sending people to fake vlog channels of rich spoiled brats "bored during lockdown". People just don't understand or respect our craft, whether it's detailing or carpentry, blacksmithing, or mechanics. I love what you're doing here. Thank you for making guides and tips to help our newbies and even our veterans. I hope to see more of the music and pure cleaning compilations.

    Dollar Tree actually sells pads basically identical to these professional scrub pads, just a bit smaller. They have both a soft and coarse microfiber version of them. They're compact and have thin foam so they don't absorb a bunch of your expensive chemicals and I find them perfectly sized for interiors. Plus for less than 50 cents each you can just toss them when you're done and grab a new clean pad everytime. 👍👌✌

    • @jdisdetermined
      @jdisdetermined 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@anthony3953 they're usually kept by the sponges, brillo pads, magic erasers, etc.. They come in a thin little square cardboard box of 2 pads. I think the box was blue for the soft and maybe green for the coarse, but not positive on the box color.

    There's an argument to using both brush and pads. The brushes are great for agitating the dirt from the cracks and folds where the pads, with the surface area and excellent contact patch can better process the larger flatter sections. The mitt pad is also excellent as it prevents you accidently scratching the plastic or leather with your fingernails. Some of us don't like cutting our nails right to the bone and so can present the potential to scratch things. I have done it.
    Good video my man !

    Is that scrub pad material more aggressive than regular microfiber? Microfiber applicator pads work great to knock out large surfaces if they're light to moderatly soiled.

    If you have a short nap microfiber, one with some “bite”, AND it’s smaller (think: the cheap ones from harbor freight)…
    …you can wrap it around a magic eraser for a DIY version of this. The microfiber sticks to the magic eraser, and since it’s a sponge, you can dunk it into your rinseless wash for a quick scrub and go. You can also spray your interior cleaner of choice directly onto the DIY pad and begin scrubbing. Just make sure you have enough that you’re not dry rubbing the panel and causing damage!!

    Interesting, I thought the brushes were silly, waste of time... Other than like cracks or small areas. Fender fuse in a cloth or what you show is the obvious choice. Like the brushes made it look more professional in complicated. For looks. Lol
