I used to leave my n64 on blue resort (6:40) while playing with toys and fall asleep with it on in the background. it was amazing.

when I was 10 years old I could never figure this game. It was cryptic and obscure gameplaywise. But I loved its music and of course it's one of my childhood games.
I felt the same way as a kid. Have you gone back to it? It's an amazing experience being able to play it properly and unlocking all of the worlds.
It took a lot of experimenting on my part to fully understand what Bomberman could do without actually jumping on his own. Collecting the gold cards and custom parts were quite the thought exercises as well as unlocking the final world and final boss.
I guess it wasn't only me huh? We never seemed to progress beyond a place involved a big red gem. xD We just stuck with multiplayer.

Totally agreed. While I do really like the older Bomberman games (especially the SNES ones) the N64 games really stand out because they tried something different, and expanded on the formula. The Second Attack is my favorite, though I'll say that this one has the best OST in the series, and one of the best overall. Extremely underrated.
yeah these games made me a bomberman fan. i knew about the snes ones but it was nothing compared to 64 and Hero. I liked hero more cause you could jump but i appreciate 64 as an adult for how puzzle based it is. Need to play 2nd attack still.

This is my personal favorite when it comes to the Nintendo 64, or the Bomberman series altogether. The multiplayer featured in this game features 3-d movement not restricted by a grid of panels like most Bomberman games, and it proves to be much funner.
I’ve always tried to explain the sound to others, but that right there is perfect lol. This game played such a huge part of my childhood.

This was my first game for my very first Console ever. We had a Snes in the house, but it was my older brothers and they wouldn't let me play it. I remember waking up at like 5am on Christmas morning and seeing this hooked up to the TV, playing the intro over and over again as it waited for me.

This is the game that has tested my patience more than any other. I have raged and I have lost, spending hours getting the gold cards. But that is just one of the many reasons I love it so much! And the music is just WILD!
I never even touched this game and am amazed by how good the soundtrack is in 2021...

Either way, the mid-late 90s was godlike for games and game soundtracks.
Really was magical era for gaming. Felt like it was just pure exploration, no cell phone distractions, no high speed internet distraction. Just a kid playing his N64 enveloped in some fantasy storyline aiming to save the world.
Really was some fun multiplayer on Bomberman 64 too! Great game

This game AND its soundtrack both just scream nostalgia. It's one of the very first games I played on my N64 in my early childhood next to Super Mario 64. The graphics and the music are absolutely beautiful for a game of its time, and kept me playing for hours on end. I'd do anything to have those precious days back :)

23:24 was some of the most spectacular boss music I heard at the time. They can mock Nintendo all they want. They innovated and set the bar for console gaming and still do in a lot of ways.
I get some real Kid A-era Radiohead vibes from Red Mountain and White Glacier. Those swelling arrangements in Blue Resort are lit!

Just came from AccordingtoSCIENCE's video of top 100 N64 songs which DIDN'T FEATURE A SINGLE TUNE FROM THIS EPIC GAME! Couldn't believe it.... so naturally I had to search this up.
Clearly they don't have a clue about what good N64 music is.

Oh man one of my first 64 games. Really a good game to jump back into because the story mode was definitely not for kids but nowadays you can feel nostalgic while busting through the game as an adult. That always gives me a really good feeling. The music will keep you going.

I randomly came across the soundtrack, completely forgot about the game since N64 days. I never realized it back then, but a big part of why I played the game so much was the music. It reminds me of a slower, more bass-heavy Kirby soundtrack. Great stuff, getting some strong nostalgia from the music alone!
if you listen to the masker song... or mini boss music... there's a racing heartbeat undertone in the kicks that really did get your heart pumping. that was beautifully portryed in this ost... so brilliantly composed. they also did it in the main boss music for each map. dayum.

This is one of my favorite soundtracks. It has a classic sega feel to it and is always easy to listen to. Hopefully bomberman games in the future take more inspiration from the n64 games.

Happened with Wave Race Blue Storm and also Goldeneye.
The Goldeneye one I was furious about but it turned me into a better player, I was super determined to fix it, and I fixed it and then some.
The skin on my palm started blistering just from listening to this OST
