I don't have as much experience but I can see all the little details that a lot of people would never notice as well. His attention to detail and processes of building something is extremely pleasing to watch.

Awesome! I'm 84 and I can say this as a compliment. There is just something sexy about a man with dirt on his face as he works building stuff for his ranch.
I’m a 74-year-old man in Ohio, I wish I lived closer, and could come help you with some of your tasks. I know there’s lots of times for an extra hand would really come in handy for you. Wishing you the best. Envy all your tools.
Tyler, This 66 yo lady has known a few fellows with workshops. You are so productive and creative, love how you grab scraps and turn them to treasure. It's a craft, a mindset that not many have these days. I am not mechanically or ranch inclined, however love your videos. Please consider hiring/mentoring a helper. You are a wonderful teacher.
You could make lots of money making gates etc for other farmer your good enough I would want to walk behind you and the jobs youve done so far and paint it all in the colour of your choice .. Little bit of my O.C.D coming out there , but your farm would look spectacular the gates and everything painted Love everything you do My dad always told me to watch different work men his moto was look and learn I can do everything in the home and garden only thing I've never tried is tiling so I'm watching you and learning so much and for that I THANK YOU
Loved your comment "And here is the Kilogram weight for those of you who are not from around here." Someday we really need to change all our weights and measures to metric. So much more logical and easy to work with! But we are so resistant to change...
Big Project! You’re so smart! You use what you have! Wow 278 pounds! That’s a heavy gate! Bull Proof! Maybe? You’re really doing a Great Job on this Gate! Tractor to the gate! Smart! Efficient! I’m assuming that this gate is for the Bull open! That’s just where you placed the gate! No Footage, but we understand! Great Video! Thank-you! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤Nice new home for the Baby Bull! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great job Tyler! The gate looks great. Heavy, but very durable looking gate! The bulls will have a better chance of escaping by going through the building than through the fencing and gates that you built!!😂😂
You da man, Tyler! Beautiful work that will last well, and be enjoyed by your grandchildren when THEY retire you. LOL I do NOT want to be around a bull that needs that much fence.
Nice job! Definitely heavy and will do the job. I've watched Bryan Luthi throw around those longer lengths of 2 7/8" pipe. He sure makes that look easy..LOL The bulls are ready to sign there lease..LOL
That gate is awesome bud! I built a couple hundred yard drill pipe fence this summer and it was fun. Super sturdy. Wish drill pipe was 3 year ago prices, I would build a bunch more! Haha
Big project this bull pen ! Looks great Tyler and a gate built for strong bulls. Enjoy watching you work and appreciate the skill level you have to make it all work and look so good. 👏😀
One great handyman you are. And your music 🎶🎵🎶 is coming along nicely. 🙂 👍. To bad you live so far away. My husband could hire you to help build our cattle fence so to speak. Don't know the name of it. Great work
OMGosh Farmer Tyler That project was so big and so heavy! I really liked that tool u got to mark the angles on the ends and how u had a simple way to mark the exact centers on both ends. A little off in quilting makes a big difference in the finished project. Celebration. A job well done
Ciesze się ze trafiłem na Twój kanał i filmy bo sam jestem w trakcie modernizacji ogrodzeń przy bydłem mięsnym i na pewno jakieś Twoje pomysły wykorzystam. Świetna robota. Pozdrawiam.
Lots of welding, but I think that gate would hold any size bull. Hey, funny story, we also watch Country View Acres.... And on today's video Evan was wearing one of your T-shirts!!!! Small world 😁
A few more observations: I like the giant lever because you can tell if the gate is latched visually from far away, even from a security camera. That would be harder with a small horizontal latch. I would consider adding some paint, white electrical tape,, or a cheap reflector plastic so I could see it from even further away. When it's time to lock up everything for the night it is a lot nicer to verify everything is secure. Eventually I want my security cams aimed at all of my locking points on my property to speed up my locking checklist I liked how you purposely lifted the gate off-center with the heavy sling strap and balanced the load with a smaller ratchet strap carrying a much smaller load. I am really starting to appreciate your tractor lift and I hope to build or buy my own someday Great work overall. I would not have noticed that this gate was homemade from a distance. Very professional 👍
I would suggest that if a large bull head butts that gate really hard, they will only do it once and be begging for Aspirin after the head butt. Like always, overkill and I like it.
Hey FT the gate looks great! Super heavy duty. I got a quick look at your injured thumb and it looks like you went ahead and drilled a few holes in it. Hope that relieved some of the pressure and hope you won’t loose that nail after all! Love all your videos and wish you and your family all the best.
OMG amazing!!! I would have liked to have seen how the latch works now that it's hung! That was ingenious or I'm just a city slicker. Lol great GREAT work Tyler!
Super nice heavy gate. We always put a concrete block on the close side to hold them up. Buried a bit in the dirt holes to the side for safety or a solid block is best just sticking out enough to catch the gate.
In hindsight I think a square nut would be more useful because you could hook a tape measure to it for also measuring lengths. It will require more math to add two lengths and subtract to compensate for the width of the nut but I think it would be worth the effort to get a good measurement. I guess if you wanted to, you could attach a sign to the gate using the same fasteners. In that case I would drill behind the nuts before welding for bolt clearance
from welder and a fabber of over 60 years, I must say you get an A+ on your skills, and you get bonus points for doing all this BY YOURSELF!!
AND still having all his fingers and toes and both eyes☺ 72 year old gal here
I second that notion.
I don't have as much experience but I can see all the little details that a lot of people would never notice as well. His attention to detail and processes of building something is extremely pleasing to watch.
My husband was a welder and fabricator and he would have said the same thing. A+
This is why you don’t mess with farmers. The smartest most reliable most sane most logical most reasonable people amongst us have always and will always be farmers.
I’m amazed at your ability to design and fabricate whatever it is you need. Great work, FTR!
Awesome! I'm 84 and I can say this as a compliment. There is just something sexy about a man with dirt on his face as he works building stuff for his ranch.
That’s a forever gate! Big milestone in your project. Those bulls better appreciate it.
Fun day for me.....I love watching these welding projects. Thank you.
I think you've got yourself a Bison gate! :)
Once again: It's a real pleasure watching a talented metal fabricator at work. Great job on the gate!!!
TYLER YOU ARE THE FABRICATER OF THE YEAR. ENJOY WATCHING YOU LAY IT OUT AND MAKING IT LOOK LIKE A MASTERPIECE. 👌 DJ
You build metal stuff with the same ease my grandmother made mouth-watering biscuits. Skill and joy combined.
Hello from the Netherlands .
thanks for the video .
Sincerely, Hollandduck
You are an expert welder, thinker, problem solver, doer. I love anything connected to this bull pen. Great job!

Fantastic job (as usual), FT! “Uphill Z weave” is my vocabulary word for the day.
Superb craftsmanship and welding...you're an artist
Thanks for a great video for us poor diy ranchers. Very informative. Wish I could find more good gate latch info.
I enjoyed the video.
I think fabricating is your happy place.
Either way, good job!

Super happy for you, and thanks for filming the project. It's been great.
Not sure why but when ever I see you use that 3pt boom pole I'm just waiting for the day you start fabbing a loader for that new holland.
That is one massive gate, but with a 2k lb bull I can
see the need, good job.
For all of you that aren’t from around here 😂😂 Australia 🇦🇺
Love your videos mate!
Great job Tyler! The gate looks great. Heavy, but very durable looking gate! The bulls will have a better chance of escaping by going through the building than through the fencing and gates that you built!!😂😂
Really nice job on your bull gate. Have a great week friend. I will be cutting and baling hay this week 😎😎🤪🤪
Hi thanks for sharing all these great videos and everyone have a great day. Hugs and prayers
This project is shaping up so beautifully! The bulls may not appreciate it - but i have learned so much, I certainly do!
You da man, Tyler! Beautiful work that will last well, and be enjoyed by your grandchildren when THEY retire you. LOL I do NOT want to be around a bull that needs that much fence.
Well done FTR you’ll be proud of that
that gate is built like a tank; the new bull pen has turned out brilliantly 👍👍
the gate looks great! Nice job!
Thanks for the video, always enjoy watching!
Nice job! Definitely heavy and will do the job. I've watched Bryan Luthi throw around those longer lengths of 2 7/8" pipe. He sure makes that look easy..LOL The bulls are ready to sign there lease..LOL
I am very impressed with your welding skills 👍
about 10 million ways to skin this particular cat. fun watching it emerge, man. mad skills.
that is a beast of a corner clamp!
I've had this in my Watch Later for awhile now and am finally getting around to watching it and - hey! You shouted out Luthi Ranch! :D
Another awesome video . That gate turned out great and a nice job on the vertical weld from one welder fabricator to another .
I live vicariously through your projects. I always had to be building something. I loved the process and the sense of accomplishment.,
Wow I have to say your a great fabricator I enjoy watching & learning handy ways to build God bless
All the fencing and gates really have made a difference around there.
Excellent job.
Greetings from Germany!
That gate is awesome bud! I built a couple hundred yard drill pipe fence this summer and it was fun. Super sturdy. Wish drill pipe was 3 year ago prices, I would build a bunch more! Haha
Now on your next gate, drill those hinges and thread in a zerc for the extra cool factor
Gee wiz that is one heck of a gate. That gate would have worked great on the Jurassic Films.
Big project this bull pen !
Looks great Tyler and a gate built for strong bulls.
Enjoy watching you work and appreciate the skill level you have to make it all work and look so good.
👏😀
Always cool to watch you fabricate stuff from a tiny hinge to a crazy big gate. It’s all coming together! Great job and thanks for bringing us along.
You do excellent work Tyler. My only thing is, if you need stuff that heavy, might I suggest smaller bulls and cows…
One great handyman you are. And your music 🎶🎵🎶 is coming along nicely. 🙂 👍. To bad you live so far away. My husband could hire you to help build our cattle fence so to speak. Don't know the name of it.
Great work
OMGosh Farmer Tyler

A little off in quilting makes a big difference in the finished project.
Celebration. A job well done
Looks good!
Coming along nicely,
Must be starting to feel good…seeing light at the end of the tunnel. Love watching you work your magic on the ranch. Fantastic job and video.
Tyler! Again, I love watching you create! Proud of your work.
Ciesze się ze trafiłem na Twój kanał i filmy bo sam jestem w trakcie modernizacji ogrodzeń przy bydłem mięsnym i na pewno jakieś Twoje pomysły wykorzystam. Świetna robota. Pozdrawiam.
Farmer Tyler is one awesome fabricator! Awesome looking job as always Tyler, top notch! 😂 🤘🏻🤘🏻🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉👍👍
Wow, your welding is amazing. I like to watch your projects come together.
Lots of welding, but I think that gate would hold any size bull. Hey, funny story, we also watch Country View Acres.... And on today's video Evan was wearing one of your T-shirts!!!! Small world 😁
Thanks for sharing farmer tyler ranch the new bull pen looking really nice.

It looks really really good. Thanks for sharing. You are making great progress on the bull pen. Keep it up.
Love those welding videos
another great job. i enjoy every one of your vids. You sure do work hard. thank you for sharing. Keep on smiling
Hey compadre yo me emociona casi igual o más que tú cuando tus proyectos terminan 👍👍👍😃
Great workmanship as always Tyler.
I would suggest that if a large bull head butts that gate really hard, they will only do it once and be begging for Aspirin after the head butt. Like always, overkill and I like it.
With bulls theres never enough overkill lol
nice job
Nice job on the gate for the bull pen Tyler
Great Job!

Enjoyed watching the progress you made in this video!
Look up tool named center finder which would eliminate several of your unnecessary steps during fabrication
that looks awesome
That’s a serious gate. Thanks for sharing the process.
Always enjoy the videos. You have done a lot of upgrades.
OMG amazing!!! I would have liked to have seen how the latch works now that it's hung! That was ingenious or I'm just a city slicker. Lol great GREAT work Tyler!
That is some great welding. Fun to watch ya.
Great job on the gate. I really like the latch idea. Maybe I can incorporate that in some of my farm projects.
That was awesome as usual Tyler!
The gate came up really fantastic - great job Tyler :)
Super nice heavy gate. We always put a concrete block on the close side to hold them up. Buried a bit in the dirt holes to the side for safety or a solid block is best just sticking out enough to catch the gate.
You do some awesome work!!
Looks Good 👍🏼
Just a suggestion....tap those hinges for a grease jerk. It will pay dividends down the road.
Great job making your gate
Another fantastic job on a hard project. Looks really good.
Great job! You are an inspiration to me. Thanks!
Do you put grease zerks on your hinges and latch?
Nice welding.👏👏👏
Tyler you should be a Automotive designers for some of these Automotive companys you shure wold come up with some nice cars to look at.
Nice job on the build.
Might I suggest attaching the locking bolt to the gate by a steel cable.
Great job
Awesome. Thanks FT.
I have a friendly suggestion:
Tack weld a flat washer to establish a reference plane. Place a bubble level on the washer.
In hindsight I think a square nut would be more useful because you could hook a tape measure to it for also measuring lengths. It will require more math to add two lengths and subtract to compensate for the width of the nut but I think it would be worth the effort to get a good measurement.

Very nice job.
Awesome ! 👍👍👍
Another great video. How is the bull calf?
Cool template for pipe cutting. Good job.God Bless FTR..👍👍👍
