This skill could make you LOTS OF MONEY! Today I show you how to build pipe fence from a-z. This is one of the easier jobs to take in the welding and fabrication industry. I can usually build one of these in less than 45 minutes. Once you get a strategy down these pipe fences go up fast! If you can master this skill, you can make a entire living off of it.

I do use a dead man with no gaurd. She isn’t allowed to use that grinder.

Nice looking results! I'm curious why you didn't use your mag drill with a cutting attachment to cut the saddles? I built a firewood rack with 2 3/8" pipe and I now have great admiration for those who can make nice looking saddle welds on pipe. It was the first time I had ever tried to do it and it was a lot harder than I expected.
You would need a cutter twice the size of the stock, easier to jus blast it

Magnetic laser, make sure it runs vertically as well and you don’t need a tape measure of chalk line

Excellent job, but steel must be dirt cheap in Montana unless you only plan to build an extremely short fence. Lol. Is this for your sister's horses? I think you could just enlarge it slightly. Cheers, and keep the good stuff coming.
It’s just a brace to pull barb wire on basically
Get you and emily some electronic hearing protection, its well worth the money over plugs or dead muffs. You don't need anything like a 300$ set of Sordins (I do lol, been wearing them in the shop for 2 years everyday for the entire day and no problems) but anything that has external microphones and internal speakers. Bedtime tinnitus no more. There are plugs that do a similar job but plugs are nasty.

I think sometimes they do this in the middle of a barbed wire fence to give it some more rigidity, although usually I see wood rather than steel.
Maybe it's just to put a sign on next to the highway

I assume you were using a "whip" welding technique? Is there a reason for doing that method on this project?
Just esthetics. Really no force will be put on these. I would’ve used 7018
