Thanks for watching!
Nice to see this series continue. Another fascinating insight. Thanks Pouse. 👍
Glad you're enjoying them. Thankfully the loft has been finished for 2 years but I'm a bit slow on the editing! Thanks for watching 👍
I feel that pain of moving tool/plasterboard all day
So frustrating- but like you say, saves money in the end!
Great to see the series back and compare what you have done to me
Hi Paul, is yours all finished now?
Yes thanks (well - I need to screw in the light and smoke alarm… but that’s not urgent!)
Just the rest of the house I’m still sorting!! 🙈
You have done a great job building your loft conversion Poise...but it seems like this series has been running as long as coronation Street 😊
🤣I think it has!! Luckily loft has been finished for 2 years but editing taking a bit longer. Thanks for watching 👍
Glad you are still uploading these! Hope Papa Pouse is still on the mend!
Thank you David, papa Pouse is indeed on the mend 👍
Tidy buddy. Definitely for those chipboard boards the spax 65mm screws are superb.
Great job ,I like the planning of wires under the boards and making notes on the boards. Also congratulations on 100k subs .
Thank you 👍
Hope you enjoyed your time off mate, looking forward to more videos!
Life gets in the way! But I'll do my best to upload when I can. Thanks for the support 👍
Well done on making 100k subs. I have really enjoyed this series, thanks!
Thank you. Glad you're enjoying the vids...even if they do take a long time coming!
Ha!!! I just did this in my loft.... although storage not an actual room so I had to deal with the fact *nothing* was neither square nor flat.
(Wasn't worth the cost/space of making it all plumb and square.)
Looks like you have done a fantastic job :)
I will say if you are dealing with older timbers (mine were 100+ year old) torquehead screws are pretty much a requirement. Ruined a few heads of philips before I swapped over.
I use pozidrive but yes the old timbers can be a pain! Thanks fully the loft has been finished a few years now, just my video editing that's behind! Enjoy your new space!
Really enjoying these videos Pouse! In the midst of a (what should have been simple but wasn't!!!😂) Extension at present and about to tackle the floorboards. Like the drawing on of the joists, wago boxes etc. Very good idea which I will follow! Keep em coming! Daniel 😁
Glad you're enjoying them. They're a bit slow coming but it's all been filmed pretty much so maybe by 2035 I'll have uploaded all the footage! Thanks for watching and best of luck with the extension.
Very nice!
Thanks 👍
How to make base for house extensions?
Hi, are the boards just going straight on top of your joists and insulation, no loft legs or additional batons ? Cheers
Is it OK to put wool between joists? Ventilation is always a worry when doing insulation work.
You only really need ventilation when outside meets inside. In this instance its all internal so no need to worry.
Yes, it's fine as this is an internal floor. The roof also has insulation board but ventilation above. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching 👍
What screws did you use for this?
How long did this loft conversion take? Been watching on and for over a year now...I think
Nice stairs and a new sub. Where did you get them can I ask? TIA :)
Stair box, online. You can watch me fitting the stairs here - th-cam.com/video/IYwswl_PheY/w-d-xo.html. Enjoy!
@@POUSEaroundtheHOUSE thanks
Great video I would like to get in contact with you
Probably have been easier to remove roof as much as necessary, build 6 or 8 ft walls, and frame in new roof same pitch as the existing. More headroom, usable space, maybe a proper stairway.
I have a proper stairway, but to redo the whole roof, whilst possible would have been tricky. It's semi detached so I have to consider the neighbour's roof, and also there were structural issues I had to consider if doing a flat roof, visually it wouldn't have looked as nice from the outside and I had a limited budget which is why I opted for this. A bit of extra headroom would have been nice but the finished loft is perfect for what I needed. Thanks for watching.
Disgusted. No tata farewell!!! Standards are slipping pouse 🤣🤣
Sincere apologies....
I think wether she’s in or not is irrelevant. They openly supported Heard by sacking Johnny. A boycott should be the only answer. Let them suffer in their pockets.
You can times that by 10 in the next few years. I guarantee you electric cars will be a massive and very expensive failure a few years down the line. The charge of replacing the batteries is around 8-9 grand currently. Who can really afford that.
