I'm sure you get comments like this all the time, but watching your videos have been massively useful, informative and helpful. Your channel actually inspired me to convert our loft back in 2020-2022. I was gutted never to see the finished peoduct with yours. I absolutely loved doing ours - the most tricky part for me was the breaking through the roof to install the velux windows (no dormer, sadly!) Once the building control sign off certificate came through I was very relieved! Keep up the great work.
Excellent, nice one! My loft has been finished for years, but I lost all my footage from my hard drive. Just paid a small fortune to have it recovered hense why the vids are back. Glad they've been useful for you and thanks for supporting the channel 👍
Glad to see more footage from this project! I loved following this project through. In summer our family is also finally going to replace the roof and we might convert the massive loft too.
I've noticed you plaster the whole wall in UK. In Australia we just plaster the joints only and leave plaster exposed. Primer on the exposed plaster board
On a lot of new builds they just plaster joints, and as new methods/materials improve, I'm sure we'll see different new ways of doing it. But plastering a whole wall is often quicker for professional plasters (not me!) as no sanding involved and a more durable finish. Although I'm not sure gypsum plaster is even available in other countries. Thanks for watching from the other side of the earth ! 👍
If you watched the video you'd see that was 2020! I lost all my video footage and recently paid a lot to get it recovered from a broken hard drive. The loft has been finished for years! Hope that helps. Thanks for watching 👍
Great to see that you've recovered the lost footage, sorry it cost you though. Looking forward to seeing your progress through to completion now 😊.
Really glad to see more of the loft conversion!!!

Sounds great! I'll hopefully get the rest of the footage uploaded sometime this year! 🤣 Good luck with the project.

It's done like that here in the UK also. It's a preference thing I suppose
