Sir Peter are you Sure you Not a Magician! Nice Bonsai Tree in the Making
I am just a human being like you but with a little more experience.
Wow. This just shows what can be done quickly with an ordinary tree.
Quickly with seventy years of practice...
This is exactly the kind of bonsai work I LOVE doing! The difference is, it probably would have taken me a whole day to do what you did in 30 minutes! 😂
(But to be fair I do all my own camera work too so it takes longer to set up and film it).
I love Mr. Peter Chan! Thanks to him I became a bonsai enthusiast and I started making my own bonsai. I hope to come to your nursery this year or the next and, I don’t know how it will be possible to take a bonsai by plane, but I want to buy a bonsai from the nursery! It’s like having Peter with us forever ❤
Where do you live? If you are in the EU you can take unto 5 bonsais back to EU.
Mr. Chan, you are truly amazing and inspirational. I recently retired and now picking up bonsai as a new hobby. Your channel is very educational. Thank you for all you do.
I agree - the _hidden_ aspect of the minor trunk of your *alternate* front selection is the more graceful, with the major trunk gently curving into the distance, very poetic, rather symbolic, like the pair of lovers on a willow pattern plate ha ha
Working your magic again, Peter. You inspire me.
An extremely beautiful and surprising result. Only a true artist can do such a thing. I love it.
_THANK YOU _ so ... 🙏 😔 🙏
Dr. Chan, I usually watch first, but I am awake.
Juat just wanted say "_GOOD SUNDAY MORNING_ to everyone."
As usual Dr. Chan has made the difficult look easy. The rest is up to mother nature and time. Let's wait and see what _the three_ will rinder?
🙏 🖖 🙏 😔 🙏

Nice & Amazing ❤👍
At my old house in New Mexico, these elms grow so prolifically. I had a few in my backyard that I would "braid" which is to say I was trying to let a few grow for shade and instead of cutting the branches I just braided them up the sides of the trunk, and when the braided branches shot out branches of their own I would braid those up the trunk as well. I don't know if this was bad for the trees or not but it seemed fine. I want to try something like that on a bonsai someday. Sacrilege or no?
somebody get this man a sawz-all....
Inspiring.
With so many trees to choose from I’m a bit surprised this tree has been allowed in the collection for so many years.
A true ugly duckling. The Siberian Elm is sometimes described as the ugliest or most undesirable tree possible.
All the same I purchased two of these and my U Pumila have given me much pleasure.
There are hidden reasons and purpose for many trees
Hickory or oak is harder than elm
👍👌👌🙂🙂
