Digital and Intelligence Service to be set up after amendments passed to SAF Act, Constitution

Attracting more youth and developing locals with digital skills to grow a talent pipeline that can support the Singapore Armed Forces' fourth service to protect the nation in the digital domain. Some MPs suggested these as Parliament passed amendments to the SAF Act and the Constitution, which will pave the way for the Digital and Intelligence Service to be set up. The key roles of the DIS would be to protect networks and systems, as well as strengthen the SAF's resilience in operations.
