SAF's Digital and Intelligence Service holds first cyber defence exercise

- Singapore has put its digital capabilities to the test in its first cyber defence exercise, conducted by the Singapore Armed Forces' Digital and Intelligence Service. More than 100 participants from 17 different organisations and agencies took part. The exercise aims to strengthen cyber competencies in defending critical infrastructure from cyberattacks.

I think many Singaporeans will be interested to know whether it will be use for blocking or hacking into the Opposition Parties electronic devices, computer and tele-communication system or eavesdropping onto public conversation or for intentionally disseminating anti-information including those that are not true?. Will Citizens Privacy be respected example how protected are we or do we have to surrender our rights to being "digitally" probe? I mean its very vague as to what they can do other than giving the notion of anti-hacking.?
Dude... The agency is made up of Singapore citizens who can be supporters of any political party. And even if they support PAP now, they could turn to support opposition in future. Therefore it is not a wise move to use these citizens to carry out such actions against opposition party members and expecting to keep quiet for life without whistle blowing eventually. Therefore it will not happen and you are just fear mongering
@@noproblematallmate No Singaporeans will want their Privacy to be invaded. It's about Singaporeans Rights, the rights to be protected, the rights to know and the rights to demand for clarity.
@@ttkoh123 nah you are wrong. Not all Singaporean are so particular about personal information security/privacy. Many of us use apps and fill in forms willingly give out our information. Everyone's tolerance for online privacy is different. Myself for 1, don't really care unless it involves serious things like hackers obtaining my password. In fact, companies getting my info is making sure I receive the right advertisements to purchase the right products and services.
@@noproblematallmate Goes to show that not every Singaporeans would agree with your myopic view and I would suggest you can keep your own personal opinion to yourselves. PDPA exclusion is not the same as being unknowingly and unwillingly Probe out of privacy information. Unless you are able to discern the difference, I don't see why anyone would waste their time on you.
