It's players like yourself that make POE much more enjoyable. Being of service to others is a really great quality to have and you, my friend have it in spades! I spent many years in the Diablo franchise, but it can't hold a candle to POE. If any new players like me are having trouble with freeze/fps spikes, go to graphics settings in game scroll down to advanced and you can put a fps cap to 60 fps. Your overall quality of the game will shift from time to time depending on what's happening on your screen. It may get blurry etc.. but the game became much more enjoyable for my low-end pc. Also thanks again for this guide. I'm on act 2 and Herald of the ash made one-shotting mobs even more enjoyable!
Hi have a video on how links work here th-cam.com/video/c0jKrHbgaZ8/w-d-xo.html . Some skill gems have weapon restrictions if you read the text they will say things like only works with daggers and claws for instance, but that's not really linking related. Glad you solved your pc woes.

I'm new-ish to the game. Been playing Diablo 4 the past few months. Hate it. So I tried PoE again. And I just fell in love. It's like Diablo II all over. Videos like this help a lot. Only thing you should change is your explanation of the gems and links. Seems like some people aren't able to understand that part of this video.

explanation for the items please? having hard time to use the gems because of the colors, that chromatic gem doesnt also gurantee a certain color, and im only relying on drops for the items, i dont even know if thats right
The reason we go for the gems we do is because they level us the most effieciently. On the sockets, this can be the most limiting factor early. However you don't just have to rely on drops. Check the vendors in towns. Each time you level the oldest stuff will leave their inventory and get replaced. These replacements can help you get the links. @Altek2k must i put Sunder Chance to bleed and Ruthless in a wapon or can i use those in my chest to?
You can use them in any item where you have the links. I tend to avoid having my main skill links in my weapon and boots if I can avoid it becuae they are most likely things you will want to upgrade as a priority. Hope thios helps, and thanks for watching!

I’ve tried the vender recipe for weap doesn’t seem to work. I tried rare weap with blacksmith whetstone and rustic sash and I get nothing at all but scroll frags alteration shards and scroll of wisdom
The belt needs to be magic or rare. Rare will give a bigger physical roll than magic for a higer level requirement. Hope this helps and Thanks for watching!
a couple spots you skip over some things like not showing the talent tree and one other campaign step i forget now lol leveling without leveling gear sucks!
Yes I record vocal track then cut the video too it. That sometimes leave me too much or too little time in an area to show everything. This guide was an sbscene number of cuts. Indeed leveling without gear feels terrible!
Dose it matter witch gear or wear u place ur socket for it to link or just have it equipped

Most of those skills didnt show up to me, i know its been some time since this video was.uplpaded but am I doing something wrong? I am playing "ruthless" "necropolis" or something like that..
You cannot buy support gems from vendors in ruthless, they are only droppable. This means the game is significantly more difficult. Thanks for watching!

Hi, I just got into POE and I needed a build. Thanks. Although, my GTX1050 GPU will freeze so much if I'm playing with a party member that has end game loot/someone in the trading zones with end-game loot does any crazy animation hahah. Anyone know what GPU I should upgrade to?
I used to play on a 1070 and that was fine, but that was over 2 years ago. I now play on a 3080. Are you sure it's the grapics and not just lag. You can get that if you are on different gateway servers. Press F1 in game to being up the monitors to check. Hope the guide helps and thanks for watching!
@@Altek2k yes because when the person with end game loot in my party did animations killing my whole pc freezes, because of how fast and the crazy animations they do.

how i can reset the skill tree?
Unfortunately you can't rest the tree but you can adjust it. While you progress through the campaign you will gain skill points to remove points that you can use to make adjustments. Later you can start to accrue orbs of regret then when used give you one extra point each. Thanks for watching!

:) as a new player i kill everything (old diablo 3 tactic) for extra xp and possible items
In the early game if you are more than 3 levels above or below the area level an xp penelty is applied. That is why in general you do not want to full clear. Will definately help with loot though.

what is it?
There is some gear in the game with good stats that have their level requirements overridden to 0 so you can wear them as soon as you get to act 1 town. This is vendor recipes. certain combinations of items when sold to a vendor will yield special outcomes. This works on both one handed and two handed melee weapons. There are many other recipes as well. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!

Yeah. Not going to do that. Tried leveling multiple times and got tired of constantly having to go online and find out why my character gets killed over and over. Then start over because I do not have enough respec points to change my talent tree. I like the game but the mechanics are to unforgiving for the time I have to play videogames nowadays.

a lot of the unique at our has a good luck, but to make good looking combos is probably hoping to be behind mtx. you can get a free mtx at the start of each league by watching the announcement stream and by completing the challenges each league. Thanks for watching,

To bad this game is a big money machine! €40 around $40 for a amor set hahaha. Now i know why this game is free. And around chapter 3 i feel so overpowered with your advice what to do that i never need any upgrade. I just olmost one shot everyone. To bad i never find cool looking gear in game begause if you whant to look decent or cool you can pay full price. And yea the game is free but lol if you buy 1 armor set you payed full price for a trippel A game.
There are challanges in each league that give mtx for free as you reach the milestones. This game isn't really free to play, if you get into it you will want certain stash tabs. That said the mtx elemants aren't required and don't effect game balance, it's not pay to win. The supporter packs are best for getting mtx if your'e going too. Thanks for watching!

Sorry about that, this was filmed back when I had a pretty experienced audience. But I note that that has shifted of late and have started a 101 series that will level a character explaining at a much better pace. For this one, if you have path of building, there is a pastebin link in the description that you can paste in to pull up my leveling notes and the tree.
