I've personally had this problem many times and I've always used teflon tape. Its specially designed for use on screws to fill space between the male and female ends. Its mainly used in plumbing to seal parts and prevent leaks, but it works so well on screws of all shapes & sizes. 10/10 Would reccomend

AMAZING AND FIXED MY GUHONG V4 . That is completely false. There became a rumor that it was more common on there but that is not actually true. The same thing with pieces of the Valk being more fragile and people claiming the plastic was different when in reality it was just a rumor and more people were just talking about it rather than actually being an issue. If you're really having an issue you need to contact your retailer because it is not actually a common thing on that puzzle.
No, it will shred and remove any resistence and be messy, at most it will work half as well. You can use plastic on the edge of amazon package parcels instead, or some clear packing tape if you fold it so theres no sticky part
I have an issue with my YJ MGC V1 3x3 where the pieces feel really loose even though the screws are pretty tight. Tightening the is not solving the issue, my guess is that there's something up with the springs. What do you think I can do to fix it?

I was having the problem were I would solve the cube and it would feel very loose and becoming looser, and after the solve or at the end of the solve if there is a lockup the whole one side comes off... But it's fixed.. Thank you
I started getting problems on my Rubik's GAN, probably due to lube seeping into the thread. I ended up adding a bit of wood glue (safe on plastic) into the nut and letting it dry to create "threading tape".

What's the name or what type of screw it is
Does doing too much solves cause a speedcube core (or screw) to strip?
Does doing too much rough cornercutting cause the speedcube core (or screw) to strip?
No. Cores can just because plastic isn't super solid product. Most striped cores are just bad from the production.
@@SpeedCubeReview What do you mean by 'Cores can just'?
It's plastic. It can break down. It's not from one specific turn of the cube.

Are you saying that lubricating the screws and the springs of the cube will cause damage to them?
No. I'm not saying that. Adding lube to the threads of the screws will cause it to more easily loosen on its own.
