Happy you enjoy the videos. If you keep breeding from successful performance pigeons or siblings to successful performance pigeons without inbreeding you can keep the line going indefinitely. I do keep my Van Reet family straight but that is mainly because everyone wants pure.

Great video again frank , thank you 🙏 Ps: I wish people would watch your previous videos first so they don’t ask the same questions you already answered 😂
Hey Brendan, It does happen and sometimes I try to refer someone to another video to save time. Maybe going forward we do Live Stream question and answer on only one topic and stay on that topic. I could also do anything Live Stream also.
I handled many big names birds. But Vandenabeele birds gives me a special feeling. That’s the type of bird you can’t get wrong with another fancier line. They give you a silky feeling and their feathers are very soft, medium to small size birds, very tame and they feel great in hand. That feeling I can’t describe or match with any other line. What’s your opinion on Vandenabeele birds?
You are describing the pigeons you should be looking for. Back in the mid 1990's I visited Vandenabeele and his pigeons were not as beautiful as they were years later. They still flew like crazy. I feel Gaby improved the pigeon type over the years and they became so much nicer and helped sales. Very few pigeons have been as good as the Gaby birds.
@@FrankMcLaughlinPigeons Thank you for your videos and your contribution toward community and pigeon sport. I discovered your channel three days ago. Subscribed and I watched all of your videos. Got my home last year and finishing my loft this week. Going back to my hobby used to practice in my home country. Your videos are very informative. Looking to find the pigeon racing club for Staten Island / NY area.
@@FrankMcLaughlinPigeons Thanks. I love this sport and it’s sad it’s slowly dying. It’s fun but not for everyone. You need a property to build the loft. So that’s mean having property your financially stable. That’s mean not everyone can afford and that’s mean the average guy starting it’s in mid 30 early 40. Because a student or teenager can’t afford it and needs years and years to reach financial stability. You have to spend few thousand bucks if you want to have top pigeons to start. And between feed, maintenance etc at least 1K each year. And now money spent by chinese making hard to compete top level and has raised entry bar for everyone. I don’t see how the downward trend could be reversed.
This game can be expensive and hopefully more will join. It seems that many hobbies can be costly even golf or a boat. Some are only entering one loft races and find this is easier. If we can introduce young people that many times start pigeons at a later point in their lives.
Good evening Mr mclaughlin could you do a video on line breeding inbreeding and the purpose fancier do these breeding would like to get a guide on this subject.
It is best to start slow and pick the best days with rest days in between training tosses. I guess if you can start six weeks before the season and pick only the best days and try to avoid heat. If they fly an hour or more the next day is a rest day. Get them to 60 miles a few times if possible before the first race.
Hi Frank, I know it’s a bit off topic but many UK fanciers are using Nasaline for respiratory, would you agree with using this product. Many Thanks Mark
I have not sent to Pattaya. I hope to send five or six pigeons. I will check with the exporter and hope I am not too late, I have had excellent luck sending a small team to Pattaya.

@@FrankMcLaughlinPigeons Thailand Masters Usa shipment is 13th May and one more shipment in June . If you have tough pigeons that can stand up to 4000+ of training a racing 530km final 36 degrees heat having to cross two sets of mountains flying very hard terrain then TM race is for you .

You do not have to pull the ninth and tenth flight before the race season but you may have to cut and pull the 9th and 10th after the race season if the pigeons do not finish the wing molt.
Hello Eric, You can email me Frank@McLaughlinLofts.com I will have young from my best ready in June. The earlier birds are going to the one loft races. I also have a few excellent 2022 late breds and pigeons returned from races.
Sir our racing season began kindly I need ur help we play from 100 GPC to 650 GPC plz recommend me feeding method and grains from first to last race..sir would u mind making a chart for me plz
Hello Troy, With healthy strong pigeons and plenty of minerals the pigeons can easily breed six rounds. My best breeders breed through the heat and humidity of the summer and during the body molt with no ill effects. They do have very strong immune systems and they do not lack anything nutritionally. The minerals are more important than anything else during breeding season.
My breeders get all the want to eat all the time. If you run lights before pairing they will drop body weight naturally. Best they are nutritionally compete and not lean going into breeding season.
Hello Mohammed from iraq We racing in winter in my country The race start DEC till MAR How many flight hours does a pigeon need per week for a distance of 100 to 300 km? From 300 to 600 km
If possible train the pigeons before the season out to maybe 100km before the first race. If you race them weekly and rest two days after each race you can fly them three hours per week from 100-300 km and two one hour flights between races of 300-600 km. They must be fed a lighter mix and not over fed and you do not have to train too much.
If the pigeon looks and acts great I do not pay any attention to the blue tip of the tongue. I feel in many cases that is just the pigment in certain pigeons.
Missed the live but I will have a look now thanks for the video .
Always love listening to frank.

Hey Mark, I am not familiar with Nasaline. Do you have more info? Is it a natural product?
The pigeons that have a thin, small, and fine cere, does that help with breathing in hot places for example florida where I fly?
I really do not think that will make a difference.
