The Laney is definitely louder since it has proper tubes in it. The VOX has the “Nu-Tube” by Korg, but is pretty loud as well. I liked both to be honest, I am endorsed with Laney and I prefer the more OG tube sound. But if you’re looking for a lighter amp that’s loud and has a great clean sound with reverb, the VOX is also a great option.
Its a nice amp with a great sound but I feel that the design lets it down... They made it look like an old time radio that should have been on someones sideboard table during the early 60s...They should have made the grill in a more amplifier style look.
Dear amp companies: Please stop putting digital reverb in analog amps. If you don’t want to put a spring reverb tank in an amp, that’s fine; I’m fine with using an external pedal for reverb when I want it. If I’m specifically buying a tube amp or an analog solid state, it’s because I want it to have a fully analog signal path. -Yours truly, Old Man Yelling at Clouds.
I had one of these. I thought it was going to catch on fire. They heat up like no amp I've ever owned. They do sound great.
Mine heats up as much as any other tube amps I’ve played through, did you get that checked once?
I didn't have it checked out. I returned it. I read some comments somewhere that someone was having same issue.
Thank you🙏🏾 your demo, sold me on pulling the trigger 👍🏾
Thank you for watching! Glad this was useful
Nice work sir, very well done. Laney owes you! The rock star faces were a bonus! @13:16
Thankyou!
Great demo!
Thankyou!
Great review man what guitar are you using in video thanks so much
Thankyou! That’s an NCLS-30R-BF by FGN Guitars
Nice playing.
Can you go from clean to distortion with the boost channel without a big jump in volume?
Thank you! And yes you can
Good to know.
If you played other amps, does it sound like a marshal, fender or vox?
@@klfdqjmqboiklnkq It does give a bit of the Blues Junior vibe, but I'd say it has it's own little character
NICE 👍
Thank you!
Laney vs Clubman?
one question, is the maximum clean volume for the Laney higher than the maximum clean volume of the Vox Clubman?
The Laney is definitely louder since it has proper tubes in it.

You’re not the first one to say that. I do like it though but I can totally understand why you or some other people may not like it
If this is the ony amp you have you're ok 🤠
Yup
@@Subharaj_Ghosh_Music Enjoy, nice tube amp.
What music are you into?
Just listened to Howlin Wolf and Eric Clapton myself.
@@Michel-r6m I listen to pretty much anything, but I spend more time playing though

Spring reverbs are love!
