With a career spanning 10+ years, he has had exposure in the field as a music educator, session player, live performer, instrument tech, and as of recent times, instrument sales. His music and playing style is all about exploring the world of spontaneous composition as a solo guitarist, with no stylistic boundaries.
He spreads his love for music as a private instructor, an online faculty at The Goa Jazz Academy, and the ECA Guitar faculty at the prestigeous Calcutta International School.

Could pls give some.basic tips how you are using the picking hand , and muting out the string to avoid noise , or has it got to do something with brand of the guitar

A mix of using the pick, finger picking and hybrid picking. Really just depends on what’s more convenient for me at the moment

What are the most common scales you use when you play jazz or any particular scales you use in this improvisation?
Honestly, I hardly ever think of scales. Really more of outlining the underlying harmony

I do love them. And I happen to represent them in India as well. I don’t particular think of scales when improvising, rather more of creating harmonic movements using cellular approach

awesome solo! any tips for anyone starting jazz guitar? sheet music is very confusing but i love the genre
Thankyou! For me at least, I think of music more from the perspective of Improvisation in general rather than just jazz. As far as reading sheet music is concerned, I understand that it can be overwhelming, but at least knowing how to read a Chord Chart or a Leadsheet really makes the job easier. But here are some tips I followed when I was getting into Jazz: 1. Choose a few Jazz Standards you like. You can refer to “The Real Book”. 2. Learn the melodies of these tunes and then the accompanied harmony. 3. Start by embellishing the melodies and playing them your own way while still trying to keep the essence alive. 4. Do the same with the harmony I do teach Jazz improvisation myself as a private instructor. If you’re interested, please get in touch with me via email or WhatsApp, and I’ll give you all the details. Fugigen made guitars. I like the pickups switch volume, tone knobs arranged in a non traditional Telecaster style.
I played a gig with it right after unboxing it, and it played like a dream

Hey have you tried the fgn boundary version which has humbucker in the neck and single coil in the bridge? That guitar has stock fgn pickups instead of seymour duncan i think. How does that guitar stack up against this?
I know exactly the one you’re talking about. Unfortunately I haven’t played one myself. But I have played one of the LP style FGN with their own pickups and they sound absolutely fine. As far as built quality is concerned though, it’s still made in Japan so you can expect a solid instrument. I might actually get one for myself. If I end up buying one, I’ll surely make a review for the channel.
@@Subharaj_Ghosh_Guitar Thanks for the reply man. I think I might go with the j-standard one, I like the natural finish with the wood grain. I can't find it in stock on any website though, bajaao or furtados.

Dear amp companies: Please stop putting digital reverb in analog amps. If you don’t want to put a spring reverb tank in an amp, that’s fine; I’m fine with using an external pedal for reverb when I want it. If I’m specifically buying a tube amp or an analog solid state, it’s because I want it to have a fully analog signal path. -Yours truly, Old Man Yelling at Clouds.
